Look at the South African Ridgebacks in Africa AAA #2, they've been crushing teams with guys 3-4 levels better at every position. Levels don't mean a whole lot if your builds are bad. The point is, looking at two teams and saying OMGZ!!!! Higher levels = own! Is stupid -- and only if it were that simple. We have good builds up and down our roster. Not saying we can't be beaten as we have lost this season. But it's going to take more than levels to beat us. If you have good builds to go with those levels then yeah... we're in trouble.

Your first string DE has a pretty poor build. Same for your SS. 10 First Step? 9 Shed Block? Really? I hope he has fun against my OT. That by no means guarantees your whole team is built like that. But in a matchup of my OT (LVL 18) vs that DE (LVL 21), I guarantee you those levels don't mean a damn.

What I find interesting is that most of the shit talk from the Athens players is by people who I've never seen on these forums before. Atropates is about the only one i've consistently seen here and he's not talking trash. Seriously though my D is higher level and built well compared to Athens and we "held" them to 200 rushing yards. Do you really think that you're D, who is outmanned at every single position, can hope to slow them down at all? It's not likely to happen but good luck to you regardless, I'm afraid you'll need it.

What's that?!?! Deacon peterson finds himself #2 in playoff yardage!!!!! The only problem for Athens? #1 is the other SoYo RB, Brock Lovelace. With nearly 300 yards apiece... it really does an effective job of overshadowing Athens' Rich Head's near-300 yard performance thus far, good enough to land him #3 in the rankings. Great job, no doubt.

Not forgetting about the FB's. But really, it seems both are doing their jobs pretty effectively, or else these HB wouldn't be where they are.

I never said your teamate was a moron, i just said there are some minor points in there that are debateable. I just guessed that they didnt watch football in real life because they like who gets the most yards and touchdowns over avg. Not many people know that LT averages below 5 yards. Brian Westbrook avgs over 5 yds. I, personally, im not saying its not debateable, would take brian westbrook. I never said anything bad about your players.

Ok seriously unless you are an Eagles fan that's just silly. Westbrook is a great runner but to take him over LT would get you fired before you made a second pick. As far as SoYo's RB go you have to consider the fact that they are running behind the best line in our league. Deacon is the Emmit Smith of this season. You don't know how good he really is because he runs behind a brick wall but you really can't deny his greatness because there is no proof otherwise.

Also take into account that SoYo just played and beat Transylvania and Amsterdam S who I consider along with SoYo the three best teams in this league. No disrespect to Athens but look at their road to the finals compared with South Yorkshire's and you'll see quite a disparity. I think Athens had a great run but I think I can already hear the bell tolling midnight for Cinderella.

Agreed, Atropates, we are a dark horse. But don't count Athens out of this one before the opening kickoff.
