I dont get why you guys care about "a title" that doesnt mean anything

Because it's part of the game as much as "the championship" is such. Why play if you're not trying to be the best at something... whether it's best in the league, best in the conference, best on the team, best at a position... that's why people care.

In the big picture of things, you are correct. It's just a game and a meaningless title.

best receiver in the league would take on the best corner, not be put in the third spot to exploit a flaw in that game, that you cant pick a set matchup. example would be you could select the corner and have it to where he covered that receiver no matter what slot he was in, like real life. i m open is good i admit, but he is over rated and has his stats padded by taking on the 3rd corner

Wow. This coming from the creator of "how to scout if u want 16-0." Guess you got the scouting [script] down, but not the gameplanning?

They owned your ass. Get over it and shut the fuck up. If you were too stupid to match up your best corner with their best receiver, then you deserve to go 0-16. Too bad someone else on your team had some sense or you'd be relegated and we wouldn't have to deal with you for another season.

Well i'm glad that at least I got a menchon in some peoples posts. I know i'm biased, but 34 sacks? Thats never been done before. Your stats have all been seen before. I'm not saying your not a good reciever, but it does help that you're in the number 3 spot because it is indeed a flaw in the sim. I'm not cocky whatsoever, but if there was any other player who had over 100 tackles and 34, count that, 34 sacks in 16 games against most teams best OT's, not their third stringer, i'd give it to him. Call me biased, i really could care less. I'm just saying put him in the number one spot and he would not even be mentioned. I'm a starter and I go against the best the league has to offer, period.

How is it a flaw? You exploit the other team's inability to gameplan. Whenever I scout a team the FIRST thing I look at is where the best WR is and then I pair up our best CB against them. I do that once again right before the game to make sure my best CBs aren't covering someone with 40 speed and that our slowest CBs aren't covering their fastest WR.

Also, MVP means most valuable, not the best stats. The squirrel WR has been instrumental to them winning the last two games, one of which was against an undefeated team. TBH though, I think it is way too early to decided the MVP. I'm not sure exactly but I think the MVP is usually picked from the team that wins the championship. After someone wins it in this league, THEN we should pick an MVP.

yea, like i said, i could really care less. if people need to argue and complain about winning a fictional MVP that doesn't mean anything, then let them win it and be happy in their own little world. Personally, the MVP to me doesnt mean anything. It'd be cool to have but i'm not going to cry over it. I was just stating my case. If this was the NFL, there is no doubt in my mind that 34 sacks beats whatever that guy had for league MVP.

We are talking season MVP. That has nothing to do with the playoffs.

I would hope that you would be a little biased buddy and I'm not saying that you're statistics aren't amazing as well. I'm simply doing my job as a GM to get my man, I M Open, what I believe he deserves. For the record though, he does go up against the best CBs. Many games he was in the #1 or #2 spots. It never mattered though, he always came up HUGE for us when it counted. Good luck to your guy in the voting, trasketball throwing, dart slinging, sausage-dog race, or however else they decide to settle this "award".

Yet he wrote League MVP and included playoff stats.

Open was #1 or 2 for quite a few games, but he did play in the slot some.
But hey, even guys like Housh play in the slot, and you can't even deny that he's one of the top WR's.

And you say 34 sacks has never been done before?
