Turner, your gonna understand ticket prices much better next season. It seems like everyone has to have one season to get it figured out.

Last season on my other team we let them sell out too quickly. Ive learned that you dont want to sell too many season tickets, and you want to set prices high enough that you can continue to sell them throughout the season.

Good call, I guess you must have the formual figured out, were sitting at 100-100-72

Ours sucks compared to that we are sitting at 59/18/4 and we won five out of our final six

Not really, I just saw for our last win or two we gained high income support, so yours had to be 8 or 9 per win (72-74 high income support for you).

I'm just looking for to the fact that if we make it to the second round, we're going to have a full lower bowl in our stadium for next season. Where are your guys stadiums going to be for next season?

My support is:

Low: 76
Med: 24
High: 0

So I guess I'm just screwed

Not really screwed, just start high next season with a low season ticket discount, then go from there. Ticket demand for specific games goes up as the game approaches, so your ticket pricing should be in constant flux of some sort.

Well my team is in the red too, but only because I spent a shitload of money on adding seats to my stadium, I should be able to add a section or two in the offseason as well, and it'll all pay off soon enough.

My theory was that the returns on expansion versus construction were that it wouldn't be worht it in only the first season. The minor income versus the large cost for a first year team (versus an established team with a better % income over salary) did not seem like it was worth it to me. I figured after or during the second season would be the best bet since the constructions is a better seat/$ ratio. Once there's a lot more cash incoming fro construction, then I'd move on to expansion.

We added a corner, bought all available seats, and now have 2.3 million in the bank. More seats, more people, more concessions, more money. Of course the home playoff game helped a lot.

Not to mention the small playoff bonus.

Yeah, the playoff bonus isn't really all that wonderful. The home team still receives a ridiculous amount in comparison from sales.

I am in favor of playoff revenue sharing.

It certainly would be more fair. We received something like $1.45M in ticket sales and I'm expecting $250K+ in concession sales.

The $100k for the first round is a joke. If it was 25% sharing of $1.75M even, Congo would be receiving $437K from us.

25% is a good number. It would still give the team that won more games a bigger reward and help out the other team.

Yeah, I'm all for revenue sharing, even though we got the home game. I think it's silly to give $100,000 and act like people are supposed to be happy. I've sold almost $2,000,000 in tickets for this game.

OK, so I added it up, $1,745,040 in ticket sales for round one. That's not counting concessions which should put me over $2 million for one game. That's 2 stadium corners. For one game. While the other teams get $100,000. I understand rewarding the "good" teams but this will just make good teams better by giving them the additional money to build sections=more money=more high level players. I think it's silly but I doubt it gets changed.
