You do realize that we're playing a simulator, right? This game is basically a series of calculations

I actually make NFL player projections every week of the season and I use a formula. It has proven to be pretty accurate, especially with WRs. I would be willing to bet that there was only one fantasy football site on the internet that had Steve Smith only catching one pass against the Falcons last season.

The point is that statistics are the most reliable resource you have when projecting these things. All the football knowledge in the world isn't going to give you accurate projections, as it is a game of numbers.

I 100% agree regarding statistics, wasn't directing that at you. I was pointing out to badkarma, who seems to think that calculations are the domain of nerds, that he's playing a game that, at its core, is a series of calculations.

Wow, losing to New England this week? I guess the sim doesn't account for the fact that they've never beaten us, including two games ago. Rock on, can't wait to crush them.

We beat you last season, game 15 I think (might have been 14 or 16). I gotta say, with all the Canberra trash talk/arrogance going on, I've lost a lot of respect for you guys in the last couple of days. You seemed like a pretty classy group for the better part of the last 2 seasons; I dunno what happened there. Maybe winning it all last year gave you a bit of swagger, which nobody can really blame you for, I guess. Not my intention to start a flamewar here, so I'm not going to say anything else on the matter (especially since it's probably just a very vocal minority), but it's mildly disappointing.

You're right, no need for any trash talk. We'll settle it on the field.
