We should make an historical record of this League, starting with it's very first year as CCC. Have the final season standings, records, and then playoff records. I know some teams have changed their name, but the league is young enough where there are still enough teams and players to keep track of it, but someday all of that will be lost if not preserved somewhere.



All I can say is that I've been with this league since season 1 (CCC before the reorg thanks coachz for reminding me about that, completely forgot it wasn't always this way) and its definitely IMO the best around. We've got a lot of great teams and great games every season without all of the BS smack talk that clutters up some of the other forums.

Agreed. I took a look at the USA Pro forum the other day and its quite bizzare.

Sans 1 team (really only 2 posters there), this league is really respectful of all teams and can recognize another team when they are good...

Hard to disrespect teams that are well run and show class when they win or lose.

We all have won some games that we shouldnt have and we have all had an ugly game or two. The thing that makes this league special is the way folks handle those two situations.

Actually the Los Angeles Sharks are still around.. they moved to USA A#8 with a league switch with the Texas Tornado.

I started this team off when it was still CCC. We were originally the Donkey Punch All-Stars.

Changed it to Care Bears when the kids started watching and getting into it.

Care Bears are my second fave themed team in the game.

Agreed. We have some spats around here but we keep it in the family and I think it's all in good fun The respect is there....

Los Angeles moved parallel over to A#8 when a couple of the teams in that league got busted by the admins for some "shady dealings"(at least, that's my understanding of the story from what I've read in the A8 forum - I could be wrong about this). A#8 was the lowest ranked A league, and with the Sharks closest to the relegation bubble in all of the A leagues last season, Bort "relegated" the Sharks to the other A league.

FWIW - the Sharks went 9-7 this year in A#8, earning the #6 slot in the playoffs.
