Beavers are better than the legends in every stat except run defense and kicking...
Less points allowed, more points for ...
Oh well. Just a formula.
The difference between the Beavers D and the Legends D was a lot bigger than the difference between their offenses. Thats why they were higher overall.
Currently the overall formula is comprised of 1/3 offense, 1/3 defense, and 1/3 special teams. I was thinking about scaling them a little differently though.

I would think points for and against should have some influence as well.
Nicely done. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I dont know if your spreadsheet is broken into individual games or just a season total. If its individual games, it would be interesting to see how the rankings shake loose just using the last 8 games. Sort of an end of season momentum thing.

Thank you for the input it is very welcome. I would like to get this working well before the next season starts.
Points for and points against are 1/3 of the the offensive and defensive rankings, which are then part of the overall rankings. So they make up a small portion, 2/9ths to be exact, of the overall score already. I am open to other ratios, but I think this is a fair weighting. I am including a breakdown of the overall score below.
Overall Score 1) 1/3 of the Offensive overall value ...a) 1/3 Off Rushing value ...b) 1/3 Off Passing Value ...c) 1/3 Points For x 10 (this is done so that it is the proper scale) 2) 1/3 of the Defensive overall value ...a) 1/3 Def Rushing value ...b) 1/3 Def Passing value ...c) 1/3 Points Against x 10 (this is done so that it is the proper scale) 3) 1/3 of the Special teams overall value ...a) 1/3 Return value ...b) 1/3 Kicking value ...c) 1/3 Punting value
keep in mind that overall value and overall rank are different. Rank is the number you see on the first page. The values are typically in the thousands.

Crunch
The spreadsheet is cumulative, meaning all games up to that point. It wouldn't be hard to make it weekly instead.
And as for the last 8 games I would love to do it. The only problem is I do not have any of the stats from those games.

And thats why you are doing this instead of me. Thank you kind sir for doing this.
Little problem on the playoff section, the Thunderlizards (unfortunately) didnt make the playoffs. The stats and score doesnt reflect the scrim game for the TL, so Im guessing that the team name is wrong.
