Sorry guys, but I had to do this...

Who got snubbed at the skills positions?
by Tyranny Vaunt, aka 'Vaunt'

---
QB - Rich Pfitzner, Parrots
Dude has a QB rating of 89.5, thrown for 18TD and only 8INT - only 3 TD's short of the 2nd team QB Sullivan, and had 200 less attempts than Sullivan. Oh, he also had the second highest completion % at 66.6 - only 0.1% behind Jcoker's QB.
---

---
RB - Trent Daniel, Mafia
The RB's who were picked were deserving... But I just have to give a shout out to my freight train of a back Trent who consistently rung the bell when we needed him the most. Great season Trent!

Honorable mention goes out to Landon Ridd, Bloodsuckers who had a whopping 22TD's and didn't get tapped for this years team. That is exceptional, especially when your playing on a team that has a pass first mind set. Very impressive.
---

---
WR - Omar Shasky, Cobra's; 14g, 59rec, 744.5yds, 12.6avg, 4td
WR - X-Treme Wide Receiver, Parrots; 14g, 52rec, 624yds, 12.0avg, 7td
WR - Marty Vanderskills, Mafia; 14g, 62rec, 690.5yds, 11.1avg, 6td

First let me say that we want a recount Jcoker!(joke) How did you get 3 of your WR's on the 1st and 2nd team!??! There are 32 teams in the league... That's 64 WR's and you had 3 of the top 6?!?! Come on! This isn't the state of Florida and the Presidential election is it??? All three of the aforementioned had excellent seasons but they got snubbed by Jeremy Jones who received 4 of his 7 TD's against an 0-14 team! Hey nothing against you Jeremy, but you also only played 8 games with the Bloodsuckers while the three snubbed wide outs mentioned above battled through 14 games with their respected teams.
---

I will let someone else rant about other positions. Keep'em coming boys... Don't let these mongrels overlook your stars so easily! Stand up for yourself and let your voice be heard!

There should have been more Jewish OL on there. They've blocked for both of me and D.Melton to the tune of 2500 rushing yards #2 in the Zeta and #3 rushing yardage team overall.

Oh and anyone from Belfast please ignore this post, this doesn't really exist. You see nothing!!! lol

No its ok, I didn't figure we'd have much. We have a really weird team, we can beat the top teams, but we don't crush the bottom teams like they do. I've never really seen a team like ours before, but whatever works.

It reminds me of the 92 Alabama team that won the national championship. They beat Miami and Florida who were both top 10 teams the last 2 games but barely squeaked by teams like So. Miss. Sometimes the overall team concept just doesn't rely on star players.

If you follow Alabama much at all this is the way it has been forever. We play down to our opponents worse than anyone.

Well done - excellent job.
The one gripe - for the second team Offense - there seems to be a Grim Reaper bias at Kicker & Punter.
I am not suggesting that either of my two Kickers in the League should have been there - I think there are far more deserving candidates - but the guy who got in only ranks 8 in Field Goals Made and isn't even in the top ten for PAT.

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone involved in this process. It must have taken some really hard work to get it all compiled in time. I'm the Parrots owner. I'm not on here to rant or question. Both of these guys had a great season so far and we had 2 LB's make the cut too (one 1st team and the other 2nd team). It must have been very dificult to decide on who should be in or out.

The point I want to make is (and I do actually have one!!) is that this highlights just how competitive this league has been all season. It's been great fun and I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions to that and wish everyone well for the remaining games

You haven't seen much Iowa football. We lost to Iowa State and Western Michigan last year. We beat Illinois who went to the Rose Bowl.

No reason to say you're sorry. I love the fact that someone started a snubs team. What is ironic is that Pfitzner came in third in QB voting but since there wasn't a 3rd team he was left off. As far as running backs it was basically unanimous on both teams. And speaking for Landon I'm sure he totally appriciates your comments.
As far as WRs I actually agree with you which is why my WR vote didn't look like the final tally. I did vote for 1 of my WRs, which I think was very justified, but not all 3. I took the total votes from the 6 voters and that's just how it turned out.

I might should've done a third team just to include more names but this list took a few hours to compile so a third string team would've been more of a headache than anything. However the All Snubs team is an awesome idea if someone will finish the list.

Awesome. Thanks to those who voted me into the team. At level 10, I am proud to lead the conference in punting average (for those punters with more than 2 games).

Not everyone voted on KR and PR so I figured only 3 votes wouldn't make a fair decision. Also you and I were the only ones who voted for O and D MVPs so we might just do a leaguewide vote and take the top All Star vote getters and let everyone decide the MVPs.

Bama grad from 99. Believe me I've gone gray many times due to our football team. I was in high school in Bham at the time of the 92 title so I know all about how we play. Good news is that with our recent recruiting it should soon be a return to the glory days. I'm thinking 2-3 years and we're back in the BCS title games.
