Offense-Kritchy Coco

( The fact is that I benched him when we played bottom of the league teams. If I let him started those 3 easy games I guess his stats would easily reach 2300+ yards and 45+ TD. )

I still have to disagree, our backups had more carries, more yards, and the same amount of TDs. Our passing games was not nearly as good as yours, and our back ran well against the good teams not just the bad teams. He had 100 yard games against playoff teams. Everyone that plays us focuses on the run and he still put up huge numbers. I am sure not everyone that played against your team focused on the run. Your passing game is so good it really helps your running game.

I'm going to withdraw SUFC's candidates for the MVP campaign.

The unofficial awards ceremony has been tainted by uninformed voting as well as the basic jerk-off campaign of Vote for Thyself. Take whatever trophies you got that are rightfully assigned and the true MVP will be decided in the playoffs. Voted on awards are basically shams anyway.

You started the voting for the player on your own team. The fact is there is only one real candidate for defensive player. The player who had more then twice as many sacks as anyone else in the conference and also boosted game 12 of the season.

On offense there are only two as far as I am concerned. Both of the HBs had insane statistical years. They both had more TDs then any QB in the league. Either ne would be a great pick, but if I am going to push the player on my team, just like you did.

Sure those players ran up high stats on weak teams, but where were they in big games? Could your DT stop the premier rushing attacks when faced with them?

28 yards per game rushing, ZERO rushing TDs allowed and I do not think one person had a 100 yard rushing game against us. Like I said he played a majority of the season unboosted, including the game we played against your team. Plus he put up all the numbers had had less then 40 plays a game. I have not added up how many tackles for loss he had but I am sure it is around 15-20.

Also one player does not make a great run defense. Your team had a great run defense. Your team had a great offense. It is my opinion that you have the best "team". That, however, does not equate to the best statistical years or an MVP award.

If we're going to give awards for stats, you already get trophies for leading in statistics. No point in an extraneous unofficial award.

You are right this is completely useless we should give awards based on your opinion. I see no other criteria we can use. Lets just throw all of the stats out and build a giant monument to your teams greatness. You obviously know more than the rest of us. So far you have called people uniformed jerk-offs and said that we should not use stats to determine a league MVP. It sounds to me like you have sour grapes because no one but you thinks either of your players are worthy of the MVP award. I guess you could be happy with a 16-0 record but instead you have to fist pound about the rest of us not as smart as you because we believe other people deserve the award more.

I knew very little about you before these posts. Now I really think you an arrogant D-bag. I hope one of us moves up to AAA just so I do not have to read your self-centered buffoonery next season.

So how far are you again on that giant monument again?

I would say pretty far because I am using valid argunments and stats. I also completely undestand people voting for crisp. I am going to make a case for Czman, but know that crisp is an equally good chioce. I, however, cannot find any reason for our NT to not be the front runner in defensive MVP. Yeah he only forced 3 fumbles, but he put up huge stats against double teams and anchored the team that lead the league in sacks by 14.

I will tell you what. If crisp can run for 125+ yards on our team than I will, for the little it is worth, admit your crisp deserves the MVP. I am damn sure he will not get anywhere near those type of numbers though.

If I were to care about this, I would have to say that Stephen Cross of the Surabaya Fighting Sura (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=157647) carries his offense--plain and simple. If he were not part of the team, Roland of Gilead would not even be close to leading the league in TDs. In their first playoff game, he was the only one to score a TD on either side of the ball. End of story.

On defense, I think that their are many candidates, but I am totally going to nominate my own dude, Texas Snowplow (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=494259). I have to. If you look at the company he holds in terms of sacks, hurries, TFLs, and FFums, you will see that he is QUITE outleveled, with the only exception being Dwight Greene, who is still a higher level. Call it what you will, but turnovers and big plays are what change ball games--even though it is painfully obvious that the sim likes to even up the stakes with subsequent turnovers.

Trying to be as unbiased as I can (when nominating my own player), I think that these players have contributed an awful lot to the success of their respective teams given their circumstances. MVP is, after all, all about what a team would be like in the absence of that player.
