I think it was by design. This league was in existence for a almost over a month before we got it so im sure Bort and company would have thought about it before releasing the teams to us

Why would they design an unfair situation? I think it just slipped their minds, because they don't usually have computer-run scrimmages. There is so much to think about and do in this game, it's totally understandable if a few things slip through the cracks, as long as those things are fixed when we bring them to the admins' attention.

And what a bizarre coincidence that your team WILL receive 8 games worth of revenue this year. I totally couldn't have seen that coming.

+1 my team also missed out on concessions and ticket sales (expanded seating) from losing a home game, so i've probably missed out on $200,000 pretty much.

OK, everyone please show your support in this thread.

The more, the better. We're owners, we contribute significantly to the game, and if enough of us speak out, they'll give us the money we're owed.

How about the fact we paid in FP for a full season and only got half of one.

That's not true - our ownership will expire midway through a season.

Ok you have a point, so how would this be fixed?

Give every team that missed out on this revenue an amount of money equal to the average revenue for each of their 7 other games. Or the average for the league. Or just $100k.

How about the average revenue for their other 3 games...including ticket sales for stadium expansion.

Well, as much as I'd like that games concessions it's really not worth complaining about. These teams started with 2+ million compared to the new teams that started at the beginning of the season with $500k. They had to sign players, expand stadiums, etc all before season ticket sales went through. Granted, that means there is money coming, but for those that didn't already own a team the amount was guess work at best.

How about don't overpay your frigging players the first season and you wouldn't be in debt. And also you should have immediatly bought extra seats for the extra revenue.

What are you talking about? I'm not in debt. And no, the ROI for buying extra seats is actually negative if you're already halfway through the season.

Also, it doesn't matter if it's a small amount, it's a competitive disadvantage that was unintentional, so we should be compensated. $100k isn't insignificant.
