That's a bit excessive. I'd settle for merely drinking their tears. Nothing quenches the thirst quite like the tears of bitter disappointment that flow from a vanquished opponent.

Bow Street's were delicious.

Yeah, I'm a little confused, myself.

Dublin seemed a natural rivalry adversary for Kilkenny, but we've got THREE to choose from!

They, of course, should hate each other more . . ..

the aim is to be the top dublin side and get bragging rights

There's a chance we get IKK Fu in the playoffs and I reckon they're playing sleeper after they saw what happened to them against Glasgow in Season 2 when they dominated the regular season and burned early in the post.

I think you think too much!

We're nothing more than a higher end, middle of the road team. We can challenge everyone except Frankfurt. They got it in the bag, IMO.

3 point loss. . . they don't have anything in the bag yet.

Quite so. They still don't give us respect after beating them. "Cork City wins another surprise game" is all we hear from them. If it happens more than once you'd think it wouldn't be a surprise anymore... especially with the close games we have lost.
And Good luck in AAA next year, you guys definitely earned it.

Ireland can use some sorting out or all of Ireland can make London their rivals since the have oppressed us from the beginning of time.

What, so a three on one rivalry? Not fair!

Given the playful jawing between The Vatican Palidans and us at the beginning of the season, I always kinda considered them as our rival of sorts.

Notice how nobody wants any part of picking the Stormtroopers as their rival We're a smart bunch.

I don't post much over here, but let me give you my thoughts.

Let me do a quick check of your record: 5-9-1

Wins:
Bow Street Runners: Currently 2nd
Larryville Jayhawks: Currently 16th
Belgrade Bulldogs: Currently 14th
Clydesdale Colts: Currently 15th
Reykjavic Lazytowners: Currently 12th

Tie:
Sweden Army: Currently 8th

I won't bother with the losses, they don't seem that relevant.

So, what does that mean for the team that you are, as opposed to the team that the numbers show?

You guys played a great game against us, and a good game against Sweden. You guys probably are a better team than your record shows. Several of your losses were by small margins and you made a good showing for yourselves.

Multiple players from my team, including our owner MLA have said as much. Yet you keep focusing on what Asmodan said to you. Get a grip. He is one person. You guys even had to create an entirely new thread about this. And why are you all so pissed? Because he kept predicting you would lose? Guess what...you did. 5-9-1 is not a winning season no matter how you spin it. You may be the best team with a losing season but you still have a losing season. Getting Asmodan to say otherwise doesn't change your record.

You guys played a great game. You guys saw through us, called a good set of tactics, and we failed to counter. Any team can win any game on any given day, regardless of the differences between the two teams. The Knuckle Dusters showed that in a game that you should have been able to win.

On Bow Street we have had a better season than any of us envisioned. However, I'm pretty sure Frankfurt is unstoppable. So, we'll probably be hanging around for at least one more season. So, take the time to regroup and plan ahead to our next meeting. You can be sure that we are. I'm looking forward to another great match against you guys next season.
