Why are you guys arguing my opinion anyways?
That list is my opinion.. has nothing to do with anything.

In addition, he has put up these numbers despite a O-line that is only 8th in the conference in total pancakes. Not to mention that his can pull off some extremely sick moves; go look at the Play of the Week thread.

He just had a 400 yard 11 TD game.. he's been moved up on my list.. haha

I thought this was about how good a player is, not about how many TDs he can run in against the equivalent of schoolchildren.

Bow Street favour back-ups on games that we're massively winning. So when playing the very poor teams in the league (Larryville, Clydesdale), Wanderlei wasn't on the pitch as much as we don't think it's fair to sand-bag. So Wanderlei's stats are mostly against the real teams.

Whereas McCready got 60% of his TDs and stats against those two teams.

Draw your own conclusions.

Against a team so new that they have a lvl 5 NT...

D-Money clearly a good player, but worth bearing the opposition in mind!

The thing is, he lead the conference in rushing yards even before that game, and his main competicion, Amp Electro, had already played P-ville.

I have to disagree with what you consider best stats also.

First of all i would remove Forza Azzuri with Johnny Suave from IKK Fu.
He has less passes but better average and only 1 less TD.

Rushing its our two HB Wanderlei and Jonah "the Beef" Lomo + D-Money from London Rippers. All got great average with lots of yards.
But the best is probably Fast Freddie from Buffalo who beats these guys average with quite abit.

As for receivers.
Brendan McCarthy of Limerick
Franck Goldhand of Lyon
Sherman McNabb Frankfurt

I don't care if Aaron is the guy at Frankfurt who scores, Sherman is the one gaining the yards for them.

Basically looking at TD is stupid cause only one guy can make the TD attempt, only good teams score many TD and you only try to score a TD after you actually get into their redzone.

Oh, I definitely agree that D-Money is one of the top runners. But as you say, he was already there because of his performance before the P-Ville game. Beating P-Ville doesn't prove anything. So I'd have put him on the MVP list anyway, instead of McCready.

I actually agree with Asmo about the top rushers in WE#4: I think they're Lomo, D-Money and Wanderlei. These are the guys with the best yardage and best YPC.

The reason I made a fuss here is because I don't think McCready's close to these three and I couldn't understand why someone would sensibly suggest that he was one of the MVPs, let alone the top one!

hey guys, i don't really care about MVP's, only one man don't win a game, the team does...

but i have 1 question: asmodan you said: "I don't care if Aaron is the guy at Frankfurt who scores, Sherman is the one gaining the yards for them."

look at the reciving stats:

Aaron Hosack: 1519yards
Sherman McNabb: 1042yards

What i meant, wasn't toal yards received, but Sherman doing 5 yards more than Aaron every time he receives the ball.
Meaning he gets the offense deeper into the opponents half on fewer catches.

Did I miss something? Doesn't everyone play the school children? So the stats should come out correctly at the end of the season.
MVP is the best player award.. and wouldn't the best player have the best numbers? ISN'T THAT THE IDEA?
Hmm.

Anyways, its not like it really matters.. Stone Gossard is so far ahead of the pack, it's ridiculous.

Asmo, don't worry. Everyone else gets it.

I'm off to prove that I'm the best american football player in the world by scoring 52 touchdowns in one game (against a team made of 3 year old girls).

Later I'll get Alidor to vote me offensive MVP of the week due to those incredible numbers.
