You can't say O.J. is our most famous player when we've had Joe, Jerry, Ronnie, and Steve. That's right I used their first names because you know who they are without elaboration.

As for Mr. Tillman, I'm all for what he did in his personal life, but as for football, he played fairly well on a consistently bad team. Oh by the way, we Bay Area people take pride in Pat Tillman too, as he's a San Jose native.

I'd bet you money that if you polled a thousand people - football fans and non-fans - and listed only the first names: Joe, Jerry, Ronnie, Steve, and OJ, that 90% would be able to come up with the last last for OJ. Therefore = most famous. Sorry. OJ's more famous than Ronnie Lott. Deal with it.

OJ is the most famous PERSON to every play for them, because he killed two people and walked. The most famous 49er player is Joe Montana, with Jerry Rice being second but quite a ways back

Well if we're asking non-fans about players, why don't we ask them to name one Arizona Cardinals player, not on the current roster, but ever. You might get some people remembering a broke-down Emmitt for its novelty value, but that's as far as it goes. Sure a lot of people know Pat Tillman was a football player, but that he was a Card is a sidenote, at best.

The niners have had their ups and downs, but at least they've had their ups.

30-3 is hardly a Whooping, if you want to see a Whooping, just wait , the Tigers will show you guys what a REAL Whooping is, something the King's can't do

i have no problem beating a team full of someone's own guys...it is actually a sweeter victory....
