hmmm Horns and MB Bears show they need to be considered in the West tonight.

In the East, Orlando played CBMB damn close...

We gave CBMB all we could. They just wore us down in the 4th quarter. They are definetly the better team, so I'm just happy with the effort.

That was really too close for comfort. Im dissapointed in our offense, but we will get it worked out. And our defense is way to beastly for us to ever be out of a game.

You guys played really well... better than I expected. If you could get a little more depth you guys would be a force.

Still, the worst thing that could happen would be to have a three way tie between us, Grizz, and West Bend. We have the tiebreaker over West Bend, but Grizz beat us, and West Bend beat the Grizz so depending on tiebreakers we could be the odd man out...

Just doublechecked - after today's games, DC has 372 points scored, West Bend has 304, and the Grizzlies have scored 342. So, in a 3-way tie DC would have the tiebreaker today.

Makes me feel a little better, but still nervous since we don't control our destiny

After this last game I hope that people would start respecting the Dogg Pound atleast a little bit.

Yes we did play the Bears tight 2 games ago and we just played a great game against the Washed Up Rock Stars with a 23-7 victory. I don't want this to sound like we are going to win the East or anything like that this season, but I do think we are heading in the right direction.

Our next game is against the Dallas Horns. That is going to be a tough one

Yeah, that game was a lot closer than we thought it would be. Like TheBeesKnees said, depth is what is hurting you guys. Currently you only have 4 different LB's, so by the end of those games those LB's are starting to get tired and wore down. That is what helped us in the 4th quarter. You also only have 3 tackles, so that hurts you late in games as well. I think with another season you guys will be a much bigger force in this league.

I think the Dogg Pound now needs to be considered as a contender for the playoffs. They started off the season weak but seem to be getting better every week. A tight loss to CBMB and a dominant victory over the Rock Stars shows they are a force to be reckoned with.

Don't know if they can win it this year, but I wouldn't be suprised at this point.

Very interesting scenario has developed in the East.

West Bend-Grizzlies-Warriors are all tied at 8-7 with each team having a 1-1 record amongst each other. Warriors grab the 7th spot with 418 pts scored, Grizzlies are 8th with 342 pts scored, and West Bend is in 9th place with 326 pts scored.

Unless West Bend outscores the Grizzlies by more than 16 pts next game, they either need the

1) Grizzlies (against the Hitmen) to lose and West Bend (Omaha) to win.
2) or DC to win and grizzlies to lose. (they would then be in a 2 way tie and they beat the grizzlies head to head).

If all 3 teams win or all 3 teams lose West Bend is likely out because of the tiebreak?

What makes this all so interesting? DC plays San Francisco who has the same GM as West Bend!

(note - I don't think Kingofva would throw a game, he seems like a standup guy. Just an interesting development)

No way would I throw a game but your right it's an exciting night of games. Those 1 point losses vs DC and Orlando is biting us in the butt. I hope we(West Bend)can squeak in. Regardless we are having a great season and living the dream. We need to protect the QB though. I got hurried 21 times and sacked 9 times yet I managed to throw for 350 yds 70 comp %. I only had 2 td's to 3 int's thanks to the hurries though. We have to figure out how to protect our QB. Plus it sucks when you own the QB and your game plan is the reason for him being a punching bag lol

FWIW 4 of our 5 losses were to the best 4 teams in the Eastern Conference. Granted 3 of them weren't close, but the better teams won those games. Thanks for the respect and props, but I don't see us doing much damage in the playoffs this season, but we will fight like hell trying.

For what it's worth bro I've never had anything but respect for the Pound because of our history. I think we're in the same boat this season except we jumped out of the gate hot and have since cooled down a bit. Since we've hit the top tier teams in the league we've struggled but IMO that's due mostly to some incredibly bad luck with turnovers. We've managed to be in every game so if we can get the kinks ironed out we'll be in good shape. This has turned out to be a very good league minus a few gutted teams and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other top BBB#2 teams up here next year to replace them.
