#2: Las Vegas Super Bears (Last Week: 2)
Vegas took out a solid Dingoes team that has come a long way since the start of the season to hold on to the #2 spot in the power rankings. League MVP Contender Randolf McAnderson had an excellent game on the ground for the bears to push them towards the victory.

I can't believe I was actually excited to hear "solid" and "Dingoes" in the same sentence. To even have a shot at equalling last year's Roos record of 7-9 after the gutting and abandonment that took place is shocking even to us. By my count we have 5 guys from last season's roster who are actually still on the team.

The Roos were expected to be a playoff contender this year as it was. To be able to come in and do that, after the team was gutted, in a competitive division is saying something.

Sweet! The Bombers made the cut. Tough game tonight, though, against Polynesia. Good luck Swashbucklers.

Great job on the ratings Moose. Thanks for putting those together.

Oh god, I need another bowl of ice cream for this one.

Standout player: The entire Northbrook team. Though I could name the kicker here, since his leg didn't FALL OFF after all those kicks.

haha yeah, been getting some serious medical treatment this season on Sam, got cybernetic implant surgery scheduled for the off-season

I'd call it game of the week -- if Brisbane wins, they and Jakarta lock up playoff spots. If Polynesian wins, we have a happy fun time game next week, since Brisbane, Polynesian and Mount Isa would all be tied, with noone having a head to head over both teams.

Definately going to be a nail-biter tonight! We're happy coming in as the underdogs and making a statement game to earn our way onto the "list". Play-offs on the line... doesn't get any better than that!

Actually if we win tonight, we should have the tie-breaker over Brisbane and Mt Isa in head to head since we would have beat them both.
