Yes. part of it atleast, but it was cause of his raw talents he had . Since I'm a Terps fan as well, It was just fun watching Vernon Davis tear up the ACC. He runs as fast or faster then most of the NFL WRS. He blocks just as good as most Olinemen. his catching still has its ups and downs. He is a threat every time he has the the ball in his hands. I can keep going on about Vernon, but I won't.

Yes if he was on the Cowboys he would have better stats, but I don't even think he is one of the top 10 TE's, I think that he is a pheonominal athlete...so is Matt Jones, cough..cocaine. To play football in the NFL you have to have a killer instinct..you have to have "IT", and he doesn't have "IT". I am not trying to shit on your favorite player to try and piss you off I believe that he was a workout warrior just like Mike Mamula and Tony Mandarich.

I watched occasionally..like i said he was on my Fantasy football team..but mike martz doesn't use a TE so the future doesn't look bright for him!

Mike Martz hasn't had a TE like Vernon Davis, like i said just watch and see what happens this yr.

Its not Vernon fault that you use him him the past two yrs, when TE's are so easy to pick up for each game. Just play the best match-ups. I have yet to use him in FFB, not saying i don't trust him. Its just i been lucky and got one of the top 5 te's.

I disagree with Vernon Davis being a "workout warrior". He was a beast in college. The only receiver in the ACC that was better was Calvin Johnson.

Titan should be the #1 TE cause he can block with no prob, and catch what ever is thrown his way. Well almost everything, not bad having 87 catchs for 909yds and 7 Tds.

He didn't have the fantasy football numbers some of the other TE's had, but they're pretty darn good. And he had a ton of back- breaking plays. If there was a GLB ESPN, he would've been all over it this year.

And keep in mind the peripheral stats - 14.2 yards per catch and 6.2 YAC and 13 pancakes (okay, some blocking) as the leading receiver on a first place team.
