My bad, didn't realize being a public figure meant someone could leak your private porn and they'd be the hero in the story. I'm just trying to get by in this world of internet saints.

Anyways, I think it sucks Hogan died. Pretty sure most people over 40 remember him as a cultural icon from their youth, not a racist, but I'm probably wrong. If there's a statue of him somewhere, I'm sure it needs to be torn down.

It honestly seems like you're bending over backwards to make Hogan the victim here, and downplaying the actual racism part while you're at it.

Look, I grew up in the 80s and 90s too. WWF was life. I loved Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, Million Dollar Man, all of it. I still have my damn wrestling buddy from back then. So yeah, Hogan was a huge part of my childhood and guess what? Finding out he’s a racist piece of shit doesn’t retroactively ruin my childhood. It just means I’m not going to pretend he was some flawless icon now that he's deceased.

Comparing his racist rant to people being "internet saints" is a wild false equivalence. Racism isn’t just someone being a jerk online, it’s systemic, damaging, and deserves to be called out, not brushed off like it's edgy banter. When you outcast an entire race of people with the kind of language he used, yeah, that sticks. And it should. That’s how we make sure future generations don’t normalize that garbage like it’s just another bad take.
