I didn't know VC well, but in the few exchanges I had with him, it was clear he was a gentleman, and had a real passion for this game. His Venom Dotball Academy, on which I was fortunate to have a dot these past 4 seasons, was a huge source of excellent advice and guidance for building grade-A dots.
The news of his passing is quite a shock, and this game will be the lesser for it. I don't know if any of his family ever read these forums, but in case someone does, please accept my condolences for your loss.

I'd like to honor him in some small way, for as much as that's worth. Any ideas? Despite the recent unfortunate poor sportsmanship this season, maybe we could name the Grand Champ trophy after him in the future?

Perhaps Pro 1 could be the RyanCane26 Trophy
and the Pro 2 could be the VenomCoach Trophy.
