Wrote Bort a message and mentioned I would ask around here as well.

Since the new age system seems to be more established now and the number of quality teams increases. I'd like to propose to go back to a 2 pro league format with a final day 40 game between the ProA and ProB Champion for the CL title.
The benefits are:
- it will create an equal promotion and demotion system from AA up to Pro leagues (see attachment). Currently the promotion AAA to Pro is tightened up with only conf champs promoting
- The forum activity and friendly rivalries have been more present during the 2 pro league format rather than the CL-Pro format
- It would take less time for new Semi-Pro teams to reach Pro league to compete for the biggest trophy
- The one day 34 playoff game which was decommissioned after the old league re-structure in s46 can be used as the first playoff game of the 2-Pro league format, leading to a day40 ProA vs. ProB title game which shall crown the Champion of champions.
Ryan also mentioned the idea to keep those conferences static meaning admins don’t have to work on swap tickets in the off-season. So either static or reshuffling of the pro leagues to create new matchups after each season. If there is a formula implemented to avoid same user owned teams in
1. Same pro league, (2)
2. Same pro league plus conference (3)
3. Each conference (4)

The red coloring IN AA indicates potential CPU teams to be removed or teams re-starting

Tomcic, I agree the proposed change is better. I just don't think you have a chance to convince Bort to implement. Nice chart though!

I do also fully support the idea of having system driven conference sorting by team owner and taking away the "manual swap" aspect.

For what it's worth I fully support the idea as well. However, I think it's in the NGTH category in which more agents will just leave as the game is becoming boring!

The number of leagues won't peak for another couple seasons, when decline kicks in for the first generation. That's probably the best time to do a structure rebuild.

I think I'm in favor of double Pro. It makes sense relative to CL. I'm not sure about relative to AAA though.

The number of AAA should depend on number of teams coming up. This season there's probably 16 legit teams hitting plateau. It would be nice to shake up that age bracket every season. Mix standbys and Pro demoters in with the new teams.

It seems like there should just be 1 AA league for the wash outs and fill empty slots with CPU.

CL should go away or more teams should be included. That would be the best for everyone IMO.

I think this would be a huge step forward into the new era. Ive got to believe that the reset probably dug into any profit the game still makes and for Bort to step forward and re-boot was a great sign of his committment. I think he knows that glb 1 user base is an incredibly gifted and loyal "gamer" and imo weve all spent so much time together either arguing or agreeing about "our game" that a positive change like this would lock in alot of those old/new guys whove returned and become active. Then I guess it will be time for a def playbook upgrade !!!

The two pro leagues with a world championship final game, that'd be such fun to see that drama play out.

O completely mis-read that part. Convert CL to a Pro..? So like Pro1 and Pro2 games on odd days, tournament games on even days, and then a second CL playoffs on even days during the regular playoffs?

Either 24 Teams in the CL/WL or two Pro Leagues with 12 teams each and whoever wins them plays each other in the Finals to win it all. If you look now I have 3 teams in the CL and RC will probably go back to having 4. How fun do you think that is for us? How I look at it I do like competition, but I don't see me sticking around to play the same teams over and over again as that is boring to say the least, Add more teams and more importantly different Coordinators to make the game more enjoyable for everyone involved. That is the smart move IMO and will make the game last longer. If it stays the way it is after my 3 top teams hit decline I will probably leave as well.

Actually, it isn't much fun for anyone as if your teams play against each other or RC's team play against each other you're just going to put the same ai's in for both teams and let the sim do the rest. Same would probably go for hood and hhwc.

Well, if it does stay this way could you at least give in and finish the game of who you are that Wise has going by letting us know the answer since no one guessed it. From reading other posts doesn't seem like the bortster is really going to do anymore changes to the game going forward.

Who I am isn't really important as to what I posted. However, I no longer have an active account if that helps. I am officially done with Wise's game and maybe he should focus on his Offense if he plans on beating OPT.
