HigherGrowth is exactly correct and when you look at all those factors you'll quickly realize you can have several tacklers all missing on a play and each for individual reasons. This is why the best solution is always bodies in the area. Swarm the HB with attempts, there is no one player you can make that is a magic bullet against the HB (actually you probably can against PBs, but regardless - that same player would be food to an Elusive).


This is why zone plays Elusives better and man plays PBs better, how they get their defenders to the ball carrier.

What if they have both

Outside of that third quarter, I felt like our defenses were doing solid against the run. Could’ve been much more explosive plays on both ends, but our teams were consistent (enough) to close off opportunities. Leave the game to the QBs it would’ve been a much minor outing.

Hence, I looked at the box score and realized that HBs must be destroyed!

I wouldn't say destroyed, but it probably wouldn't hurt to have elusive running and maybe power running slightly lowered, im not to sure power running is to strong right now but would be fair I guess.

Elusive running is much more OP than power running.

I dont disagree, I know most defenses dont really have the power tackling invested is all, versus defenses have high awareness, high pursuit, and decent physicals and still get beat on by elusive

Columbus’ LBs are missing more tackles than ours. Don’t even care about checking the transformer’s team. I see this problem on the discord (hence why I don’t input), but tone, time/place, & critical thinking outside of self is a major problem with frequent users.

I didn’t complain, but the comments & likes were unnecessary and emotionally unintelligent. I’m not Ty, be an ass on your own time. Let the thread die out; it’s like pulling teeth on here.

I’m sure we can look through stats and make many “fix your build” posts as well when you’re just trying to contribute to the community. That was really insensitive - like the rest of your freaking responses you ass.

lol nah he’s upset with GE. However, I love you too He’s right though, it’s the reason why I love him

Our new guy is following the standard copy & paste builds, but Sperry’s starting to do his own thing so cut him some slack. The fix your build stuff was annoying to me too, but anyone who’s been here for a while knows GE kinda sucked back in the day so it’s easy to get over.

Looking at the top of the pro HB leaderboard, there’s serious diversity in builds so it is probably time to retire the catchphrase. Offensive lines & QBs was the hill I died on though, and I don’t use discord so I’m switzerland
