No disrespect Ty, but someone who can't beat CPUs has an extra burden of proof on their observations. You may see something, but too often your opinions do not and have not panned out with reality. Winning games means your theories hold up against experimentation.

Yes, it’s good information at time - but regurgitation is annoying. Whenever there’s actual discourse I’d like certain agents to step outside of their mindsets or not engage instead of killing it.
No one is talking about top teams etc etc. This is why people get pissed - because whenever a conversation is started it’s always about the “top teams”. I don’t care who’s using awareness, I care about the usefulness.
If I put a 100 snap awareness, 100 sprint, and 100 quickness (throw in 50 min balance) WR vs a 100 awareness DB I promise you there will be multiple awareness fails on the back end consistently. As we get to Vet, I’m worried that defenses will be fun to watch up front and in the middle, but fail frequently on the back end (as many of the top highlights have shown the last few weeks).
Carrying awareness & blocking are whatever. Blocking overall is looking so much better & HBs can kick ass without much awareness. Defenses though? As you said, we’re supposed to be incentivized to be highly aware. Literally no one is saying that.
We’re saying the return is minimal, and it makes you wonder where else you could invest those points. Because in reality (as it stands), yes you can cap at 70 (still high pursuit though) and get away with it depending on your physicals & SAs. You’d honestly need it - we’re in sophomore & some offensive players are already in the 4.2s. As a defense, it just seems like that super high investment incentive is not as visible. At least not consistently enough.
Well in that example ya that wr is insane fast and the cb more than likely would be to slow to keep up at that point.
He probably doesn't fail an awareness check there but fails a balance check trying to turn and keep up with said WR.
My point about showing what topnteams do on awareness shows it works and isn't bad.
Lead block awareness I see work as you increase it, now there is a part that you need lots of speed from the fb or lineman with it so they don't see someone before they are out front of your hb.
Snap is good nobody debates that, even it does depend on position.
And yes you are correct, there is a point that any awareness skill to high with low physical ends looming worthless.

Anyways,
https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/12195#
Since people only care about “top teams”, here’s a top team & I trading blunders in each half. If you want to talk “consistency” in the game, you can’t… because it’s a number generated sim. Saying that the base level for awareness is fine and that all top teams are good is stupid as shit when it’s clear top teams are suffering from this as well.
No one attacked you all this time & yet you still found your way into my threads with your chitter chatter. You can paint me out to be a villain all you want, but in reality the facts show that some of you are just fans

I mean, you should probably wait until Vet to make these determinations. Agents build dots at different paces for different skills. Some might go high awareness fast or wait until later tiers.
You really can’t determine much until end builds.

my thoughts as well.
I don’t know what was expected. Doesn’t matter what everyone is doing or how much they have if the receivers are running anywhere from 4.2 - 4.7 and have first step or head fake.
can’t be mad when we tried (and almost got away with it!) to exploit that before the reset. now that linemen are blocking better of course more people are going to be stretching the field 💩
