If you're new to GLB2Scout:
1. Go to Virtual Player - awesome tool for building and then re-building players. Sometimes you have to clear the cache by saving the player and then going to a different screen, like the Dashboard and then back. But it's an easy work around. You can import your existing players into this tool too.
2. Dashboard - far right column has "Affiliated Teams". Enter the Team ID# of every team you have a player on, and it will create a list below it of all those teams. Then you can click on the Team Name to go right to a Team Scout of that team, or it's next opponent.
3. Team Scout - Scout your own team and scout your opponents team. You can quickly add all League and Ladder games by clicking on those icons just above the listed games in the left column. The blue S adds the scrims. The GLB2Scout logo adds everything. To de-select games of a type, double click on the icon again and it will cycle through remove/add of those game types.
You can filter Down and Distance as well as Formations in the box in the right column. And this is where you can switch to Defensive plays too. In the play data section, the icon on the right next to the Play Analyzer icon, is Replay Data and this will bring up each individual play so you can see the data and get a link to watch it.
4. Play Analyzer - You can select this from the left hand column or on the Team Scout page, the far right icon of each play will bring up another window of the play in Play Analyzer. Allows you to find plays that work well (or don't) against the chosen play.
5. Virtual Roster - This is where you can build out your next team by position and by trait so you can maximize your salary cap.
6. Power Ranker - This provides a visual table on-screen showing data for each team depending on how you filter it. This is also where the Forum reports get generated from. The blue button in the upper right once you've filtered to create the Ranker.
7. Strategy Library - This is where you can share Playbooks and Tactics with others. You can upload and download from this page. Want to run Detroit Leos BSB Defense from S52-S55? This is where you find it - and can download it right into your GLB2 account. (You have to link your GLB2 login info with GLB2Scout first. It's easiest if you use the same browser to do this and have both open.)
It's a feature that hasn't been used much, because if you're a subscriber, you're probably building your own stuff anyway. But with everyone having access now, a key way it can be used is this:
Have an experienced player build a playbook for your team. Now usually, they'd have to be GM/Head Coach/OC/DC to do this - and they still can. But now they can upload the actual PlayBook and Tactics Menu up to Scout and then you can download it into your account from Scout (into GLB2). Now you'll have the actual playbook and tactics matrix in your account!
Or if you think the Tactics Matrix is calling the wrong play, you can upload the Playbook and Tactics and then an experienced player can look at it (without 8000 forum posts asking questions) and figure out what's wrong. They can even make edits, changes, whatever and upload a new version for you - that you can then download into your account. Then you can see what they changed.
This would help new players diagnose Playbook/Tactics errors much quicker and with less frustration.
