Toning down Conditioning - or more precisely lowering the recovery rate of Energy after a play - has been done but should probably be done more.

It's the S* nerf. They did it some but S* still have the advantage over two non-S* at a position.

They want a S* game; not a non-S* game.

I was on that horse for a long time. Eventually gave up.

Intim doesn’t “fire”. It just does damage to the opposing player’s morale. The damage can be countered by toughness.

Would be really devastating in the snow.

But when? How often? What's the firing condition?

Does it fire/activate on every play? If so, my high Intim guys should be draining OLineman consistently every play, but that doesn't happen.

Does it fire/activate during rolls? When you win? All of them?

There are lots of unanswered questions in my view.

I've had more luck demoralizing offensive lines by winning with power than anything intimidation has done for me. It helps, but you have to win for it to do much and the more overbearing you are with power it's a huge demoralizer.



Int seems to "fire" when you are openly chasing a player around, like a free run at the QB or HB that they have to try and avoid you in - and the drain is pretty significant too. A HB staring down an int LB in the gap he wants to run in will lose multiple morale points per tick.

It's seriously devastating - but situational and hard to achieve good results without building the entire team to demoralize in that way, not to mention the radius it effects shrinks fairly rapidly as you invest less.

I think its a halo around a player like a continual AOE attack lol

I don't think players with the ball can "fire" the ability and it only effects ball carriers.

The radius doesn't effect opposing blockers.

The mechanic of 'aoe' demoralization only works one way unfortunately - offense can only benefit from that small bonus when winning a blocking interaction, basically.

I disagree with this. It even says in the tooltip. Causes morale damage when engaged in blocking interactions. It affects both offense and defense.

Now I do think intimidation needs a buff.

Anybody ever build a high intimidation, high power running back? I bet that would demoralize the defense.

Back in the day. I don't think I ever build a Power HB that didn't have at least a decent amount of power just because of the reason you mentioned.
