You seem more interested in arguing than learning. There is already a ton of information in this very thread to help you improve your teams. If you're convinced that you already know what we're talking about in here than I'm not sure you can be helped. Again, feel free to contact myself or Adderfist and we will help you, but you need to be willing to listen.

Gadz, one thing most of us are willing to do is assist with O, D, players builds etc...
Ellix posted one of the more common builds used for an o-line. If you look at top agents, you'll see they use early bloomer:
Detroit Leos: https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/335327
dredgar: https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/334489
myrik: https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/351531
There's more agents that use similar builds and have the best overall results.
As for starting traits, some are better than others. Most agents don't use a dedicated Kr/ Pr, they use their S*HB therefore no points spent in return specialist since there's better traits to pick over it.
Some builds require certain point usage based off how team offense/ defense is designed.
Some SA's just don't work and some are amazing with the right builds. Im off this week, I can assist if need be.

Opened up the build to all on the link DLcurt posted. Not fully min/maxed as I try random things, but can be useful to see where I went higher and obvious areas neglected. At least points in the right direction.

And even then, looking at end game builds and copying them isn't going to ensure success leading up to it. The old guard knows when and how to spend their SP throughout their career to maximize success rather than just evenly backfilling up to a build you're imitating.
Like there's a lot that goes into why you might be losing. You can't really point to one and say "that's it right there", it's compounding, and there's thousands of tiny things that add up to getting beat on. None of them are a major thing, and it's certainly not an insult to your intelligence to point them out. It's not all super intuitive without a lot of trial and error. Again, many of these guys have been playing this game for nearing a decade. And a lot of them still get beat on pretty regularly.

oh, definitely, just making a point about builds. It also comes down to play calling etc both O and D, that's why I decided its just easier to accept friend request and can assist with evaluating his team and offering suggestions.

It's also worth noting that you shouldn't get too hung up on how realistic scores are.
You've mentioned you're a coach in real life. Imagine if you just picked a couple plays at the start of the game, and then ran them over and over all game regardless of their success and not adapting, while the other team does the same thing. Like, you'd be far more prone to picking a play that beats them and then beating them for 4 quarters straight. Or vice versa. Maybe the play you picked runs your HB straight into an LB every play, you're not going to score all game because you can't adapt in the middle of the game.
When the same wrong play choice gets stretched out over a whole game, scores are bound to be a bit exaggerated one way or another. It's just the nature of the game, and a large part of the reason that people just stick to a handful of "safe" plays in a typical game, and try desperate stuff when they're not likely to win. They either end up eeking out a win, or losing terribly, but a loss is a loss.

Seriously Gadz, all you had to do was ask and I would come work day and night to straighten out builds and show you the ways of half-assing your way to some small victories

Speaking of people who have been here for years and still get beat on pretty regularly.

You'll see, my new project will be slightly less terrible and non-functional than all the ones before it!

I think what you might be missing is this.

What are skill points, ability points, and cap boosters? How many do I get in a player's lifetime?
- Skill points are used to train your player's skills. You earn 180,000 skill points in a player's career, and can buy up to 29,000 more with SP boosts, for a total of 209,000 skill points. Superstar players earn 10,000 more skill points for a total of 219,000 points.
- Ability points are used to add and improve signature abilities. You earn 12 ability points in a player's career and can purchase up to 3 more with AP boosts, for a total of 15. Superstar players earn 3 additional points for a total of 18.
- Cap boosters allow you to raise the maximums on your skills by 5 points. You earn 3 cap boosters in a player's career.

From Ellix's post with the Offensive Line comparison - Level 25 is MAX BUILD. At that point you will not gain additional SP. The slow build to early bloomer comparison is worth about 50,000 SP, in order to get the same build. That means at vet you have around 60 less games of SP to spend on your build.

Yeah, slow-built really should be removed from the game - it is never a net benefit to a build.

Never is pretty strong, but it is very niche.

It has some uses. Most cases it's not worth it though.
