RA is worthless for returners as you know now. My HB has no points invested and is ST #1 HOF this season.

Carry Awareness is good because of the SAs tied to it though.

i used to think returns used RA instead of CA for the chance to fire on skills but i have not seen that to be the case.

What does "buff the hell out of it" even mean? You don't just pass the checks, you pass them really hard?

Even at the basic level make it a functional check on fielding the punt or kickoff, for example:

Very Bad Result - Player totally "doinks" fielding the punt or kickoff casuing the ball to bounce off their body and move away from them (Bort didn't design all those bouncing footballs for nothing)

Bad Result - Player misjudges punt letting it bounce but ball is not live and can be downed/for kickoff player has to scramble to actual ball location after misjudging 5-7 yards

Minor Bad Result - Player muffs return falls on ball for punt, doesn't field kickoff cleanly has to pick it back up causing a few ticks delay

Normal Result - Proceed game as is

Good Result- Player Steps into return providing higher initial balance and acceleration

Great Result - Player fields punt/kickoff cleanly and halfway on the run or poised to run much higher initial balance and acceleration

Agree....fielding the kick should be a big part of return awareness.

Big Pharma strikes again. This is fake news. My Power HB has 24 Carry awareness and is painfully unaware of his surroundings. It's the reason Assisted Living can only do inside runs. Just being able to get 4-5 yards of outside runs every now and then makes your offense a much bigger headache to gameplan for. Especially if it's out of the same formations you can pass/inside run out of. People try to spread out their defense planning for everything and end up defending nothing. It's one of the reasons Nevada Wolf Pack is S̶O̶ ̶D̶A̶M̶N̶ ̶A̶N̶N̶O̶Y̶I̶N̶G̶ such a good team.
