Well, that's one, anyway. Still don't think it's worth the investment.

He is finally getting enough power running to pull off YAC. He had 3 catches in this pick up game today. Here are all 3 catches.

Got tackled by the 2nd player...and it took him some strength to bring him down.

He fumbles here but YAC did not fire and he was fighting for extra yards.

He usually will not break a 2nd tackle, that is why it is essential that you get him out wide so he just has to break a CBs tackle and he is off. YAC is useless on slot receivers because even if they break the initial tackle, the safety will tackle him.

He is at Vet now and YAC is firing almost every other catch. I think high power running helps it fire for some reason. He hasn't raised his Rec Awareness since sophomore and got GOLD YAC in Sophomore. It just started firing a ton when he hit 70 in power running.

Last game he had 5 catches...YAC fired 3 times.

I don't think Catch in Stride is helping as much as I thought it would. It fires sometimes, and he stays up right for a few seconds while being tackle, but usually doesn't break the tackle like with YAC. I am gonna run a few more games. Might go back to GOLD Power Through instead of CIS.

they work very well together, PT and YAC that is

PT fires on catch sometimes and can break a tackle as good as yac attack. however yac attack gives the balance bonus and makes your player move faster than otherwise

Sure footed might just be better there than CIS. You get the YAC firing and you break the tackle then you have sure footed to get you back up to speed.

He will be silvering sure-footed.

When YaC fires, he is never tackled by the 1st defender. The key is to get him isolated, one on one, on the outside.

Weird...YAC doesn't like to fire in the snow for some reason. After the last couple of days, without snow, YAC was firing on almost a 50% rate. Today, he has caught 9 passes and YAC only fired once.

I've begun to believe the First Step SA is tied to a balance roll to fire. I noticed it when I started testing First Step from Pheep's post about its fire rate. I tied it together with First Strike. On plays without First Strike and 80+ Quickness, the fire rate is probably around 10-15%. On plays with First Strike fired, its much closer to 50%. These SAs may follow the same rules.
