They won something like 78 games in a row when they Seasoned-Journey-Pro. They won all of their Ladder games playing up a tier during the streak. It's the all-time consecutive win record and no one else is within 30 games of them.

Ummm it's starting to sound like we found the GOAT everyone. I guess the question becomes if being the GOAT is about longevity or dominance during your run.

I've been thinking of resurrecting Rob's GLB2 records thread. Would be nice to see an update

Well I believe he was a friend of Rob. Not sure in real life, but Sov, Rob and others built those teams.

From the outside, I can't tell you who did what versus anyone else. That's a them question.

Rob is the only person to win all 6 Ladders in one season. And since we don't have 6 tiers anymore, no one can ever match that.

Sov.'s teams were very good and very well thought out. Sov. teams also had some of the best agents ever, I know I had players on that Bronx bombers team.

agents were like rob, sov, detriot, me, bhall, and a few others. Sov would run his offenses and rob and i did the defenses.

A key point why they were so good was sov. leadership. It was very bill belicheck (spelled wrong i know). He would design every build and tell agents, follow the builds or get lost. why because it made the teams run exactly the way he wanted them to run. I learned a ton from him, we would talk about why choosing plays during certain times was good as well as sometimes just do what works.

I would slightly disagree. They took advantage of season 2 and tweaked their builds to dominate.

This was before the GLB2 Scout days so that offsets it some.

Yeah....I probably wouldn’t play this game if scout didn’t exist. Before scout, I would spend easy an hour game planning. I would have to watch the last couple of games of my opponent to see what kind of plays he ran.

I look at GOATS to be the ones who stuck around and impacted the game more as a whole personally.

No doubt, I don't disagree, but I can't take away from them taking advantage of the meta at the time. Especially all of the time & Flex they spent running scrimmages figuring it out.

I remember it was goal-line QB rollouts (rookie), Dogs All Go, etc, etc.

Gameplanning Rob is the GOAT of GOATS IMO. There was no better feeling in the game than beating Rob when he gameplanned for a game. When he was actively gameplanning, he was easily the most difficult opponent for everybody. His ability to lock down so much defensively was no joke. Sov ran a solid offense, but defense is what wins games here IMO and Rob is second to nobody defensively.

BSB would not have been the force that we were without Dredgar and his defenses back when he was actively gameplanning as well. Hell BSB on this run is only as good as its defense again.

This is why I dedicate a ton of salary with S* players to the defense.

I'll never forget Rob's AA team when it was abusing everyone in that all pass era and he and I played his #1 team vs my #2 KYM in ladder and I beat him like 49 to 48 (his only loss that season I think)... and he still won Vet because he destroyed so many people that season. I died a lil on the inside after seeing him still ranked #1 That being said, I used to pick his brain a lot when I was developing my style, and he always super helpful, as were you (You helped me start to understand offense for sure). Xars even helped me a bit back when I started until I think I annoyed him, lol.

Playing against Rob, DL's BSB, Dredgar's Southside, Osiris, and Sov's BB is what made me better. Finally being able to beat you all was an achievement and satisfying as hell after the early ass whoopings you all gave me, lol.

I want to give a special shoutout to Osiris here... when he won Vet, his WW and my KYM were #1 and #2 against each other for the final game and it was settled in OT. That was an epic final to the season... and in that season we beat all the greats to get there if I recall. I know he was particularly happy considering how many tough teams he had to go through. AS a matter of fact, Vet used to have a ton more teams and the competition was very fierce... the new guys have no idea

Don't remind me. AA still gives my zone defense nightmares. I could hold every opponent to under 30 points...but he would put up about 60 or more against me.
