Reduce chemistry penalties. Lessen the effect and duration of the chemistry penalty.

How about every CPU team gets one Star player on Offense and one Star player on Defense at a randomized position. That would add some spice to some of those games and stats.

I hate to say it but I agreee with corn dog on this. I would love guilds to be open but the refill thing would fuck up servers. And if there was a basic template then he is right, the CPU would be better than most of the guys dots out here. So then we may lose more of the user to user interaction.

They don't have to be meta builds, just basic... no HB's with 90+ speed, but decent and well rounded for the type selected. That way you can ensure the human made players are better, and you can have new guys look at how a basic build is to get ideas on how to actually build their guy right instead of wasting time guessing. I'd be more than happy to help make templates for every position if they'd let me.

Why the downvote for Superstar players? I like this idea! Would add mucho fun to scouting CPU teams!......right?

This. Plus CPU players boost now, so there would be zero incentive to sign new agents. Agents would just scout and collect the good CPU builds.

Yeah, I said they should scout the cpu builds and improve on them since the cpu builds would just be basic... thus the human players should be better and you'd still want to recruit them over cpu dots. No one says the cpu dots would be meta, just sufficient instead of being worthless.

Could it work like a reverse-S*? So they would earn less AP/SP and/or be more expensive to train than the usual human-owned players.

Not only that, but the people advocating better CPU players are the top owners in the game.

If a CPU is an "acceptable" replacement on your minmaxed 23-2 team, he is going to be way better than most human players on most teams.

This! 100%

The templates would only work in a straight ownership type of game, not a player development game. Which goes back to my idea for a different gene or I guess format style of this game where owners pick a play style template and then maybe draft new cpu toons with aging. This simply won’t work in this type of game as we see owners rocking it with current cpu builds. The people trying push that through probably just want to save money on building players. Once that happens then game over

Dude, I won't use a cpu dot with a template or not, my man made guys are better, period (and specialized to my style of play)(I can't tell you the last time I used a cpu dot anyway). This does not benefit me in the slightest, I was only suggesting in interest of helping other (mostly newer) players as that we've seen their builds and even cpu dots will be better... level the playing field just a little if you will.

If you all think this is just a way to stop players from rolling dots and spending flex, then just make the templates extremely basic... it would be better than the random bs we have now. If you think its because veteran players can win with the cpu dots, then stop making them be fully boosted and leave that ability to human controlled players only.

There's multiple solutions here other than to not do anything and accuse us of trying help ourselves somehow. I think I more than often ask for things that benefit everyone as that I want this game to survive and thrive, considering its one of my hobbies.

PS.

Fix Juke. I get it might have been perceived as overpowered before, but as is it's currently trash... it needs the nerf dialed back a little bit.

If thats the case lets just open up every users builds for the world to see to help them all get "better" Heck let us copy directly off a playbook from another owner too, lets allow everyone to have access to everyones playbooks with everyones builds and then you'll just complain about how its crap they can just copy all your hard work. Stop pretending like this is the end of the world.

The issue is whereas you're right it would be for newer users, the vets are just going going to take advantage. Its with online gaming in general people abuse the system to win, they dont use it for its intent. You're kinda acting out by flipping out about the reasons why it won't work. People will do anything to win which ruins the experience for the newer guys so you cant for a second believe it would be used the appropriate ways. If the cpu dots don't pertain to you then why get so mad and butt hurt? CD is telling you how it will effect the game as a whole and you're making it about you.

If you all think this is just a way to stop players from rolling dots and spending flex, then just make the templates extremely basic... it would be better than the random bs we have now. If you think its because veteran players can win with the cpu dots, then stop making them be fully boosted and leave that ability to human controlled players only. So now you want to go back to the cpu is complete trash and its even more painful to watch as they get steam rolled by 200 pts a game? You're seriously going from one end of thinking to F it lets flip to the other side of the spectrum, thats not a solution either. This is a business, no human players means no GLB2. So once again your thoughts are not meant for the greater overall game they are just being refocused to your narrative. This is a business for them, they want it to succeed as a whole. "It would be better than the bs now?" So you think by them giving extremely basic cpu templates thats going to automatically make the game different. Apart from SA how do you even know how "random" the builds even are if you don't use cpu dots anyway? I'm completely confused by your rant, maybe you're just not getting your opinion across in a rational way because it looks like blubbering tbh.

There's multiple solutions here other than to not do anything and accuse us of trying help ourselves somehow. I think I more than often ask for things that benefit everyone as that I want this game to survive and thrive, considering its one of my hobbies. The fact you have to state you more than often ask for things that benefit everyone is a kinda a blanket statement. There are plenty of things that you suggest that I don't agree with, so that statement doesnt work. I think everyone has put through some ideas, but generally if its an idea that a user comes up with there is always some personal agenda (no matter how small behind it).

In your rant you actually show things that irritate you but maybe not others. I'm not even a dev here, but this post is going to annoy them more than anything. When you annoy them enough your words mean nothing and they just keep on scrolling even though you are a big agent on the game.

This is just an outside opinion about how your approaching it and commenting on other opinions. I've seen guys like Jay already run with his cpu guys super competitive through at least 3 seasons so the CPU players can be decent enough if someone wants to approach that. Osiris kills it on rookie with his CPU guys.

Overall, keep up the great work CD, game has come a long ass way since it started. You guys have done a great job filtering through the suggestions and implementing them while trying to keep balance in the game. END OF RANT
