Yeah, that’s precisely why I suggested the forum instead so people could just naturally form teams, especially if there was a way to get your players on teams you wanted easier. But even then, it’s spending time and energy on a portion of the game that makes you no money.

And if it was all time glb greats, I’m sure people would watch - just you are 100% on point about server costs. Not to mention, with changes to the sim, some of those all time greats would no longer be so great.

I dont think adding a retired, even if you named it geriatrics league, would bring more players to the game nor would it be enough incentive to keep your players at legend/retired

Idea would be that an agent could spend something like 150 SP(what it cost to extend a Vet player), and then have the player become a Legend for a season.

The thread was a little more detailed though. I think quite a few felt human agents should be able to try and coach the teams too, since CPU gameplans don't really take advantage of the players in the same way.

Legend League is a fun concept, but people retire Legends for flex and/or to get the S* for a new dot. If humans were allowed to run the teams, and retired players were allowed to play in it, it could be really fun.

He did suggest adding a price tag to it to convert the player to a Legend. Which seems like a decent compromise

Thats not bad, maybe double price of team cost? Every game is play off rules no ties, add cost to turn player from max vet to legend add it next to booster bar on player page, maybe even add another ability point buy just to add a little more to profit of staying legend.

i think instead of retiring my non boosted players i will legend them from now on

I still don't understand why I would want my expired vet player to play in a legend league instead of retiring him to get the flex back.

to be fair its very little flex for me as i dont boost my players given enough time we can populate the legends league
