If there was a CPU team with 12 Super Stars, it would get destroyed?

No, Whoville in rookie right now is basically that (minus the 12 S*, just 12 human reg players) and they are the top team in tier with multiple CPU guys in running for highest in HOF at their position. Why? Because Osiris is a boss.

I mean probably.

Most people want play calling to matter.

Feel free to bring that CPU roster up to Vet. Is that tempting you?

He's saying rookie ball is kind of unpredictable because builds haven't panned out yet and CPUs can have a larger impact because their general all-purpose builds aren't actually being constrained by the skill caps these sub-par builds have.

No doubt you'd still put up a good fight _OSIRIS_ but the main problem with CPU builds at the moment is that they don't take any skills below a 5 on creation, so no skills ever really get above a 7.

Meaning most skills have a cap somewhere around 55-60, and some CPUs choose egotist making things even more troublesome for their morale at high levels.

I've seen some players test out vet CPU HB builds and say that the 40 time is equivalent to ~45 sprinting. That's why CD was talking about making CPUs emulate real players.

You can get good usage out of CPUs, for a while. It's nothing against your skill - just a harsh reality of the game.

Most CPU players are terrible for that very reason. OL, DL, CBs seem to be pretty good. Leave something open and I could still exploit that opening.

Maybe those creation skills is what CornDog should be looking at rather then recreating builds from 30 seasons ago.

I have tried to help so many new owners but they have full rosters with very low caps. Even 12 well built players would elevate them quite a bit.

Even just having the CPUs take their starting stat distributions and traits from real players and then letting the cpus just build how they want to would be a vast improvement, the caps are the main thing that keep them from being productive beyond journeyman.

Definitely the way to go. They should use the current HOF leaders as templates not obsolete builds from way back.

I still think giving cpu players a basic template with various archetypes would be the best route, though I don't know how much work that might entail to code. I'd love to created a crap load of templates for submission.
