Teams have players that go inactive shouldn't be overly penalized for replacing them in the offseason- plus Free Agency should be a fun part of the game.

Look at all the inactives on this roster- it's crazy

Free agency is not fun when you spend months putting together specific builds and someone volunteers to build them and commits for a run. Then you get to vet and league rivals poach them leaving you with no time to do anything about it. Then you have to play against your own builds with whatever you could pick up if anything.

When I respond to a recruiting thread I stick with that team until the team folds or the owner goes inactive. If I am just taking a player to vet for a specific team I'm not going to commit to some random team I'm planning to screw over. I will use CPU teams as placeholders.

I will never go on another run because of this free acency bull shit that has recently started.

Stick around until Season 40, I have a feeling you'll dig whats coming and you'll be able to go on that run again

Yeah nothing worse than someone who just got a ride and had ebpvery intention of screwing you in the end. I’ve always tried to stick with my teams unless it appeared my guy wasn’t needed then I’d ask to move on. If they still want him I’ll stay, if not then move on.

Same here, once I sign with a team its until death do us part...team jumpers are like Lebron, no loyalty

People who own teams you build players for that just vanish are no better. Was a time if your team folded you had no chance of ever getting signed again lol

Yah some team owners have no loyalty to players either

For the stadium idea: Will never work without the devs taking some serious time developing the counter affects into all games as well.

Stadium: No perks to running or passing but no wind

Outdoor cold: Higher chance of cold weather then change morale for players and give run games a bonus, lower skills of the passing game by a percentage.

out door hot: Nobody like so run the ball in 100 degrees so the opposite of the out door cold, boost to pass lower run. However there would be wind affects.

You're playing with fire and an entirely new level of exploits. The game is semi balanced right now for the active players so stadium and chemistry hits arent going to help the game in anyway.

Heck the draft which was a great idea IMO, teams are already figuring out how they are going to rape the FA market after the season. Completely ruins the idea of the draft. Shouldnt allow it unless there are inactives. It's no secret i dont pay much attention to my teams basically just sport some teams and players to do my part to keep things going and i enjoy watching games here and there. When you offer suggestions, don't do it just to benefit your own game because you think it will give you a benefit in your mind, you need to make suggestions the the game as whole in mind and what could go right and wrong with your suggestion. Many of us have seen the devs change the game a lot over the past almost 10 years on here. We either end up with teams like AA or the jerk stunner team by TXSTEVE as well as the GE teams with the Goalline qb rollouts. We give the devs a hard time but they are limited to what they can do and there is no making everyone happy.

I have never cut an active player. Not once, nor would I ever. I have also never contacted a player on an active team convincing them to screw their owner over and to switch my team.

I spend 1+ season planning every single build out, posting the builds, and finding willing agents to build them. I don't screw my agents over and was naive to think they would show me the same courtesy.

So unfortunately chemistry is the only deterrent since loyalty and courtesy are no longer involved.

You are not addressing the problem of players going inactive on a team. The team owner has to replace them in the offseason and they get screwed over a second time with the chemistry hits of signing new players to the team.

That goes for every team, no different than troubled players in the NFL or College...luckily we don't have injuries or suspensions here...shit happens and not everything is fool proof, such is life

It's unfortunate. If it weren't for this every player is a free agent mentally that has recently become the norm then it should be changed without a doubt.

I currently have players on roster still not at 100% chemistry and we are on game 24 of 30. So it's going to be over 80% of the season with chemistry penalties. That is beyond excessive and unrealistic. A player signed in the offseason should be at 100% chemistry much sooner. Game 10 by the latest.

As an aside, does anyone know what exactly chemistry penalizes?

They say 5% reduction on all skills at 0%.
