I am lretty sure that I could make YAC work alright but you woukd want it on a bigh volume receiver to maximize the firing chance. YAC now automatically passing balance checks could make it quite useful. I have had some power receiving builds laying around that look pretty decent on paper.

the problem of course even when power rushing wasnt nerfed was that you also need speed to make it a viable threat in an offense. currently breaking one tackle ends up being a bit meaningless if you cant get away in space.

For sure man. I took a light hearted crack at it before and momentum was an issue. The guy only had just over 70 power though qhich was not enough obviously. I would see him begin to use his power against DBs but would ultimately just drop even when CBs had crap tackling. Stiff Arm can fire on WRs too tgough which is much better at breaking a tackle quick enough to get upfield. Probably a better pair with YAC than Power Through IMO.

A power WR would be even more viable if screen passes were as reliable as they used to be.

I plan on using him as the #1 WR. Never sub.

High strength...so decent run block power to pancake defenders, coupled with high quickness, CIT and power running. Gold YAC and maybe Stiff Arm. Will implement screens too. That will give me a power run blocking WR at the #1 and #2 position.

Build is not open. 73 is manageable.

I'm interested in his build too. Open it up!

How much power running do you need to break the average DBs tackle? Right now my cap is 61.

Probably higher than 61. That build was from an era where quickness and balance werent very important so he was able to use speed to break away after a single broken tackle.

he only had like 40 in balance and quickness. that same build about 4 seasons afterwards with the quickness change did not yield great results at all.

I can't seem to figure out the sprinting/footwork/quickness combination for the current meta. They all seem to be equally important for accelerating.

as is balance and conditioning as well.

Quickness is more important now for acceleration.

this was the best power WR i can think of and the crazy part was he was built in s4 lol. peeti didnt boost him if i remember correctly so he retired early after hitting his prime but he was pretty unstoppable.

if i recall he had something along the lines of 40-50ish rec hands, 25ish CIT, no route or elu, high cond, 90ish sprint, 90ish power running with power through and CIS.
