Yeah, and i think this would just allow new players to play with teams that make them feel comfortable in the game and maybe the player base would grow. If they feel like their player could be auto drafted to a team and its run by players and not a CPU im sure they might enjoy the game more. i love this game, but i do see a need for there to be more options for new guys as well as changing up how players are brought onto a team and needs to be trading. it just makes it to where there is more parts to the game and allows more communication between other players.

I agree, I am just saying that it makes no sense for agents to actually draft these players because they aren't drafting techmo highlight reel Because of his talent or anything. They are drafting him because bodiddley makes a decent hb.

i agree what im saying would need to be changed and messed with, but its mainly the concept of having some type of draft. We just need some system to fill rosters and change up the pace of rookie. I dont mind how it is now, but i think if you implemented this system that you might have more competitive leagues as well, but this is speculation.

Very true. It would be more about build/agent. Doubt this would ever happen anyway, but would be interesting to see implemented.

i doubt it as well, but i think it could improve the game alot for new players.

It could be an interesting idea to mix things up at senior level? Cant see it being viable for rookie though, it could be a nightmare

I could see this as well, but the main purpose for proposing this at rookie level is to include new players to get on decent teams and not play on a CPU roster. Alot of new players arent gunna jump on the forums looking for teams and are going to quit because they either A. get a CPU team or B. get on a crappy agent owned team and never find success.

What if it was a completely separate league. Everyone gets 2 free players for the league. If you can auto draft for fantasy football, you could set up an autodraft here. Players enter their players into the draft, then owners get x days to rank them or allow the sim to pick for them. Owners would not be able to build a team based on predetermined builds. Instead they would be forced to build a gameplan based on the team they were able to draft. It would imo drastically level the playing field for newer players. In this league, resetting would not be an option and once a player is drafted he's in till vet. If he goes inactive, cpu takes over and randomly assigns points at the end of the season. You would need to lower the cost of ownership in this league. I think it would be fun.

label it as a 'new game' and maybe the warrior general staff will pretend to care about it for a few months

This is pretty much the only way it should happen. It should be a seperate tier all together, not just league. Like the CPU leagues.

Thats what i meant. It would effectively replace the cpu leagues

It's amazing how many people prefer playing against weak competition in the CPU leagues exclusively. Bunch of creepy dudes playing alone in their dark basement if you ask me.

for pirates this season before Rob came in to our league it felt dead. I LOVE competition and when it feels like there isnt much to look forward to when playing a CPU its a bit discouraging. If they dont do this idea they need to at least condense the leagues slightly more so more agent owners are together.
