I don't like any of this players options, MLB would be what I would go for. He could fly to the ball. Even if he doesn't get the tackle he could cause some havoc. BRB, pursuit, and all the tackling skills is where I would go. The SAs may really hurt his potential.

You can get the occasional sack though and even more so on 3rd down. As your LB was getting faster the offense gets faster too and the receivers hit their spots faster.

Yup this. I had a 100 sprint/quick/condition Blitzer and still found it near impossible to sack the best passing attacks.

What was his intimidation and diving? I think if the QB's morale is lower, he holds the ball longer. This is what I am doing with Clubber Lang and Gold Trash Talk + 91 intimidation. The QB sometimes loses 50% of his morale before plays.

Lot if wasted AP there unfortunately. The sp you saved is minimal at best.

Pretty minimal. Had to get his tackling skills up a bit so he could be on the field at all times.

Yeah blitzers aren't effective against top teams, 3-4 3 tiger still annoys sometimes, i prefer to build them with 100 PT so when they finally sack is dangerous.

I don't understand why people waste a S* on a blitzing LB. I think S* should be used as multi purpose positions. You can build a very fast, quick blitzing LB without S* status.

Because I wanted to try 100 sprint/quick/condition. Ldo.

But people use superstar so your Blitzer is built to be on the field all the time and has the sp and caps to be a great all around player as well.

Actually my original plan was to use all the zone Blitzes that brought lolb and rolb around the corners with super hard hitting guys everywhere else. But couldn't get to the qb enough with 2 super lbs at 100 sprint/quick/condition that really just seemed like useless cap space

That is pretty much what my defense is.

I wonder if a very high quickness/snap reaction + first step and tunnel vision can do the job.

Ya rusty had 2 100 sprint/quick/condition guys with 50ish prp and snap reaction. Gold first step, tunnel vision, brick wall.

tunnel vision is quite bad in my experience, but even so those guys shoulda been crazy.
