You could even give an owner 2 opportunities in the regular season to either negate the advantages for an equal game or +5% to one players skills for an entire game. 2 promotions all season to use. Not in playoffs as that would be the advantage of seeds.

I would be for something like this. I can just see unbalanced game play with most of these suggestions. I didn't want weather to affect game play at all to start with but at least everyone plays in the same conditions the way it is now.

Ya I think i had 3 or 4 topics of weather suggestions in GLB1 in a pretty similar matter. Was really surprised to finally see it come together in GLB2 honestly. I do like it but together with the stadiums building and promotions would have been kinda fun. Even though stadium building and promotions became a mere formality in GLB1.

I think it would be pretty cool to play in a region/stadium that fits your style of play. Giving homefield in playoffs an actual advantage. But I do like the thought of during the regular season getting the choice of either negating the advantage or giving a boost to your best player against 2 opponents you think will make the difference.

Why? Home field advantage is huge in real life. Going to Green Bay sucks for a southern team. You build teams around where they play. The greatest show on earth relied on speed and played in a dome. The Bears use to rely on tough defense and good ground game while playing in the snow.

You should build your team around your home field advantage so you actually have one in the playoffs.

I guess I don't want to win or lose games because of weather. Other than that I see why people would want it. Brings back GLB1 false starts memories where you can lose a game over something you have no control over. I can see it leading to some kind of META.

Maybe my mind could change so it's not a thumbs up or down for me.

That could be a valid concern. Finding a balance would definitely be important. They key, though, is that even if you built for your home stadium, you still have to play other places. Given the choice, I would love to put the current Fury team in a dome and let speed prevail. At some point, though, we'd end up in the rain or snow and would be at a disadvantage to a team built to play in those conditions.

Well yeah....this is exactly what we need. This is how it would work in the real world.

Very much like that. The more I think about it, three regions and a dome option.

I just can't see a way this is balanced, especially with a dome option, personally speaking.

Me either. It would be cool if they did this but it would have to have a lot of thought put into it. I'm seeing everyone going with powerbacks and a snow environment when a team like that beats them everytime and their players can't do what they are built for. I could be done proper though. Maybe just a slight lean one way or another and no domes. Maybe slightly a better chance of rain, snow, cold, warm, etc. No chance of snow until the second half of the season then not an automatic thing, but a higher chance.

Bumping because this is really needed. Weather isn't balanced as is right now, so allow teams to at least have home weather.

I do think regardless of weather and home field that teams should have a chance to counter a couple times a season. Not in playoffs obviously but ya.

In adition to the grass/turf and dome/open, climatized stadiums, an option to choose mild temperature.

Agree with the weather deal for the most part but in the championship game, no weather. Let the builds not be affected. There is a reason the Superbowl is played in perfect conditions 99% of the time. Or charge 10 flex for gloves and 10 for sideline heaters. Kidding
