Egotist S*?

You running high consistency with mah hands?

Wr3 we run high consistency, sprint, and conditioning. Decent hands/cit. Like 70 or so.

Natural might make that build a Lil better tho.

I've had success with a star slot WR who wasn't fast or quick (50/50), but had really high Hands (90), Consist (90), Grip (70), CIT (85), with a decent Route skills. Kinda an anti-meta build, but it worked. He was good to dink and dunk it too up the field all day.

That is what I am looking for.. the tough catches on 2nd and 3rd down..

My only problem with that is it limits your range on 3rd and medium+. Which leaves your options to run the ball or throw the screen. Otherwise you will be sacked by the good teams.

I am a fan of Route Tech. I was keeping tracking of Skill Values during the building process and very clearly RT helped and RE hurt. Basically that means that RT's value>cost and RE value<cost. I'd max Belgarion's RT to 89 today.

For a Slot WR3 guy, you need high CiT and high Rec Grip. You get hit a LOT. Since Belgarion, I've done TE testing with Toughness and Toughness helps on over the middle catches, so I'd target more there than Belgarion had (23). Every WR seems to benefit from high Rec Consistency.

80+ Sprinting is good, but you don't need much more than that. Your running 11-14 yards mostly. Quickness, and now with all the buffs, will really help - along with First Step.

I'd make him more like this today: http://www.glb2scout.com/vpimages/14_6589_1481760909.png

SAs: You need Gold PT and Gold Slot because you need the Rec Grip. You're biggest risk in the Slot is a Knocked Loose.

Sounds a lot like my TE builds.

Pretty much this. Except my sprint will always be higher than quickness because that doesn't make any sense. Quickness helps getting to full speed. Having higher Quickness than sprint is pretty silly when it is that high and the idea is to get from point A to point B faster. It makes small sense on a dline where your immediate thought is get off the line and get 5 yards. Getting 10-15 yards and sacrificing sprint for higher quickness makes no sense. Also, I don't think I care enough about carry grip and carry awareness to make that a thing like you do. I would rather those points into balance myself. I guess one worries a bit about forced fumbles these days but at WR3 that doesn't seem to be a huge thing.

that being said WR3 being a huge part of the game hasn't been a thing for awhile now. The real game is at WR2 and even WR1 now. WR3 is kind of an afterthought. I don't even use a superstar there anymore.

He is almost identical. Except he will have 80/90 quick/speed and his toughness will be 53.

Yeah, my TE's are about the same as the WR too. I found the template works well in both positions for good possession types and a dink and dunk style passing game. I didn't have any problem getting sacked as much as people would think either.
