Why can't you simplify the Defensive Tactic Matrix, so that it is easier to control what plays are called on specific downs and distances, and to allow us to use more than 1 short 1 medium etc play for each offensive WR Set. Currently we are handcuffed by this one feature and there are very few quality Defensive Coordinators left in this game, and even less up and coming ones. I know its been asked for season after season yet ignored, which I expect this question will be, but there absolutely needs to be something done to make it easier to coordinate defense. The more quality DC's that stop taking jobs, and the more players that have to deal with the dung pile that is the Def Tactic Matrix, the more players will just give up.
You say that as seasons go by you have less obvious changes that need to be made, well this one is BIG and its OBVIOUS and you could be working on it season day 1.
