I didnt dismiss that part, BUT C-Dog and Bort have dismissed it for 21 seasons now.

Its been well established that Newbies dont read forums, and that if they did finding that particular thread would be the proverbial needle in a haystack.

IMO the best way for a newbie to find success at this game is to seek the council of experienced coaching, whether that be to advise them on building playbooks and tactics or running things for them.

O ok, good work. Is it updated with all the new plays and defenses ran against those though. Seems that's a pretty old set up, but certainly a good start for people. I think I'm going to open a Forum and link both the Tactics and that play discussion. Give a recent forum for them to see. I know, myself that while I was very active, I still missed that play forum, So I'm curious how much others might miss.

Nope - untouched since originally written - but not a ton has changed imo

As it should be from a business stand point. That being said something does need to be done to encourage people to get into the coaching aspect.

It's tough tho, glb1 always had a rough go of that. And it ultimately sucked facing the same network of guys over and over to the point you got into the playoffs and spent 3 rounds facing the same duo of coordinators from 3 different teams. Best case scenario you make the dai more intuitive and go from there. Currently it has been and still is a nightmare for a majority of the agents in this game and is just another barrier keeping a newbie from continuing the process of trial and error.

It's great for you. You can lol your way to flex while getting all our ai's for your own use.

I agree that the defensive tactics matrix is responsible for scaring off the majority of new agents.

Yep. Cut down 1 or 2 tiers too. Give more seasons in Vet.

I really hated the defensive matrix. It is absolutely horrible and especially for new users. It doesn't have to be that way. Any time I would even suggest a change to it the thumbs down flowed like mad. There may have still been time to fix it, too late now. Now you assholes have to live with it and unfortunately the new guys do too.

Yay! I get to call a short blitz, a short blitz, or a short blitz and don't even have a choice which and when. Thanks guys!
