I have never used slow built, it goes against how I like to build

This guy is the obvious answer. One of the fastest players in the game and also throws for 150/game. Not even a S*, so the build could obviously be even better.

I see he throws a lot of screens...but still.

The attributeS just don't match up well enough to do some of the things I want to do defensively.

Agreed.

Guess what, 70 sprint and 79 CONDITIONING is not a good runner. Well rounded must be code for mediocre at everything.

So you're paying a S* salary on the most expensive position for a regular QB's passing acumen and some running skills that will amount to nothing. Not a good use of the salary cap.

No, it's literally not possible. Redefining "elite runner" and "quality passer" does not count.

I only find a use for SB on WRs and CBs, so I'm not sure why you are struggling so much.

Are you just looking at caps, or are you actually allocating the SP to see if you can even reach them?

You are correct BUT 70 sprint + 20 sprint, quick (Gold Tuck and Run) = 90 sprint + 79 conditioning on a QB who doesn't run that often = awesome scrambling high lights!

There are certain sets of skills that can't all reach near 100 without slow built or superstar trait. It just isn't possible.

Ya I have to give up some places to use it but that's what a guy has to do in order to do what we are currently doing.

Being really fast doesn't make for really good when you aren't beating defenders to the corner.

An elite scrambler would have to probably have to get an sa in the game that gives +15-20 elusive or power running during a non designed run play in order to make them more useful.

The only thing I can see that I don't like is Slow Built...that is the worst thing to pick in the game, IMO.

Slow Built can be very useful for players who need good caps across the board. And with a scrambler you have to be decent(but not necessarily great) in quite a bit of skills.

Tecmo Cam was built before the conditioning trend though(only 56 conditioning), so I would probably swap out Slow Built for workhorse if I could like I did with my Tecmo Tebow build.

Tuck and Run won't fire on designed runs. So you've got a mediocre runner for designed QB runs. Not what I would call a dual threat.

Even on scrambles, 79 conditioning isn't going to be enough. The QB is going to play every single snap. Energy is going to be in the toilet after just a couple runs/scrambles as he is never going to get any rest on a drive. Passing also consumes energy. 90 sprinting is good, but not elite for a physicals back (which this QB would qualify as).

Yes, but you won't have the SP to get multiple skills all near 100, especially with slow built, so who cares? A bunch of unfilled caps is useless. Superstars, on the other hand, actually have a shot at filling multiple skills to 100.

I can see how you would have more of a need for it though if your standard on a high skill is 100, and not something like 80. But again, you're mostly going to have a bunch of unused cap space, unless you only need a single skill at 100, in which case you don't often need SB to get that, especially with 3 cap boosters in your pocket.

Trying to get 3 skills at or near 100. I have accomplished that. So not useless at all.

Well 3 skills at or near 100 for the lbs.

For the safeties and corners probably only get that 3rd skill around 80.

Hmm, I guess the question is what constitutes an elite runner or elite passer then. Tecmo Cam isn't the greatest build, but his QBR is 110, and runs for 10.3 ypc. He's on pace for 3 straight 5000 yd+ passing/rushing seasons.
