39 drop backs, 14 scrambles = 36%
36% seems quite good for a dual threat qb.
Cam Newton who is one of top dual threat guys only scrambled 18% last year which is half as many as your guy. Also I only counted how many times he carried the ball which means I'm also counting plays designed for him to run as scrambles in this instance so that 18% is even high.
So what are you expecting a guy to have a perfect 50-50 split?!?!

Say whaaaaat? How did you get that number? He dropped back to pass 39 times. Of those drop backs, he scrambled out of the pocket and ran downfield 14 times. Out of his 15 rushes, only 1 was a designed run. And that designed run was to take a knee.
Unless the word "scrambled" is used for designed runs.

53 drop backs, 13 scrambles = 25%
These numbers are looking promising.

No because this is a discussion about QB scrambling and evidence is being presented.

Agreed. Evidence is they scramble too much and it should be turned down.

Somebody presents evidence that in the NFL, the most prolific dual threat QB playing right now only scrambles on 18% of his drop backs.
GE wants 30%.
Also... In before "this isn't the NFL".

Yeah, except I would say Wilson is the most prolific dual threat QB, and Cam doesn't actually scramble that often (as was noted in the OP on Cam including designed runs which he does a lot).
According to this: https://www.profootballfocus.com/qbs-in-focus-tendencies/
Cam only scrambles 6% of the time. Pryor leads the league with 17% and Wilson, with his terrible OL, leads the good QBs with 14% (and Wilson is rolling out the most in the league, which is going to lead to a lot of scrambles).
So yeah, looks like the evidence GE posted is that scrambling is probably happening too much.
