The HB gets a boost to his running style, to compliment his path taken. ALL players have this tactic, too

Again, what different path could an O-Line player take to give him bonuses?

You get those bonuses when you build your player.

If you want individual tactics, go play Classic. The devs left them back there with the rest of the trash.

Read the tactics on HBs. They get a +5 bonus to power running and -5 to elusive if they are set to Power Running... And although it doesn't say in the tooltip, the DEs setting probably gives +/- to pass rushing skills too.

I'm not a big fan of player tactics. It is very difficult to get players to change their tactics for a game and then change them back before a game the next day. As a player I get annoyed with constantly having to change tactics and I have way less cares than the coordinators. Even pass rush style is difficult to control game to game. It also gives a big advantage to single agent teams.
