its not exactly a new thing, many backs relied on high con/sprint (jimbo) and many others took notice a while back. it's just becoming a trend since so many people are now openly sharing builds on the forums now when in the past those things were more kept under wraps

It was a thing before, but I don't think it was taken to the extreme it is currently heading.

I think this is what 90% of S* HB builds will look like by season 20 with the current meta.

95% of teams won't have the builds to stop that, and the other 5% will have a S* HB just like it and the game will turn into basketball on grass.

Honestly, I believe the current crop of rookie teams will rely on a this type of strategy. You just have to be careful, though. If the meta shifts too much, the devs will make some changes the bring the game back into a semblance of balance.

I actually think this current rookie class is fairly diverse in team schemes. Will be interesting to see what happens when more defensive builds add high conditioning to counter these HBs.

Just go look for RBs that are getting 50 carries a game, every game.

Power backs have always been a thing but these obscene 90+ conditioning backs with 100 sprint and/or power running have proven much more effective than anticipated, particularly because 90+ conditioning had rarely been tested. Turns out 90+ conditioning not only makes power running far more effective but also makes the running backs significantly faster as well

Hmm I had something like that but I cut some things to increase toughness since I heard that was important. Back to the drawing board I guess, but I won't have a tier 1 S* for a while anyway.

Yup, I think I'm going to cap boost conditioning from 98 to 100 on × Hammered × in lieu of getting speed to 69. I want to push it to the max and have the first 100 Power Running/100 Conditioning HB in GLB2 history, though deep down I feel that speed would be more beneficial...

I want to turn the Power Running up to 11!

FYK will have 100 sprint pr and conditioning when enough SP comes in. Excited to see how the build will do with a line full of S* once we progress towards vet
