it has been proven that 60 balance at the oline can be a bit much genereally.

Well it depends on if you are going up against a power rusher or technique rusher. A power rushing DT will pancake a 60 balance O-Linemen all day. But since most D-Linemen use technique these days, I guess 60 balance should do.

Balance is only a problem if you are losing the block roll often and losing it badly.

This G is on an intentionally bad team with only 40 balance, he's averaging less than 1 RevCake a game over the last 2 seasons.

Rev Cakes are rather rare in the passing game, and on a G with 70 or higher run Block tech the rev-cakes will be rather rare in the run game as well. You have to worry more about shed block or spin cycle allowing them to run free. The only time rev cakes will really matter is when you get insta-caked by a DT, which is rather rare in this game, you're more likely to get insta-spin-cycled then insta-caked.

20 sprint and quickness? Does he pull? I see he has pull specialist. Maybe the HB he is blocking for is slow.

But @ his pancake to Rev pancake ratio.

40+ speed is a must for any guard on a team that runs outside, even non S*'s. Having a G that can't pull pretty much removes quite a few good plays from the playbook. Plus Pull Specialist is such a strong SA in it's boost to the Run Block roll (RBT guaranteed at 75% of max) is huge.

This is a p good build imo, but I would take some out of all the awarenesses.

I'd say he is in sync with his blocking, but what do you guys think?

So it is enough speed for when he pulls?

Not really. I just have to rely on them making the pancake fast enough. It's mostly why I am experimenting with the You're Next SA. I had to make a sacrifice to get conditioning where it is. I will say that because my OL has 75-80 conditioning across the board it makes them faster than similar builds with 35 ftwrk/25 quick/25 spd. So I would shoot for at least 50/40/40 for a S* G blocking for a speedy back...

Which is why I think 90 tech is unlikely or effective. Makes sense

My power pass rushing specialist DT's, with Gold Tunnel Vision mind you, only revcake about twice a game. It doesn't happen as often as you think.
