Week 3
New Jersey General @ Twilight Zone
Oh man, what a matchup, 2 100% rushing juggernauts meeting up, in fact, this entire week is full of great matchups. However this one will be decided by the defense, and not the offense, and Twilight Zone's defensive personnel will make the difference. The entire back end of their D, LB's, DB's, and even their DE's are all dual specialist's who can play the run as well as the pass. I think this game will go to Twilight.
Southside Rebels @ Pain Nation Midgets
Southside is a great damn team, and both of these teams have been stuck competing against rush only teams, and this would be a close match except for one reason. Megan Simoneau 3 is going to be one of the deciding factors of this game, and I think Southside will break this one open with the ground game.
Enterprise Seminoles @ Jarvis Street Coffee Squirrels
Most anyone will probably bet on Jarvis Street to take this one, but I think Enterprise has a few tricks up their sleeve, and Jarvis has a few glaring weaknesses that I expect Enterprise to take advantage of here, by moving back to what made them so successful last season. Both of their matchups last season were decided by a total of 3 points, and this one will be exceptionally close as well, but I give the edge to Enterprise here.
Deez Nuts @ Super Villains Strike Back
This matchup scares me everytime it comes around. Theres something about GE that I just don't quite trust. You think you know what he's going to do but in the back of your mind you always wonder if he's chosen this week to throw a wildcard into the ring. I'm worried about his defense, but I think ultimately our defense will overcome their offense more than their defense will slow our offense down.
Niagara Rapids @ Kapitol Killers
I hate to say this, but I think the biggest thing holding back the Kapitol Killers is their lack of a team identity on defense. They try to do just a bit too much with their playbook, and lack any Star power on defense and it's going to be their undoing in this game. I think Niagara is going to use the running game to break this game open.
Little Lebowski Urban Achievers @ Kentucky Mountaineers
A real juggernaut matchup right here. Lebowski has chosen to run all over the league so far, but the mountaineers have an incredibly stout defense and have proven that they can shut down the run. They've got some CB's who can shake even blocking WR's when it comes to getting to the HB in the backfield. However Lebowski has one of the most smothering defenses in our tier. Their Lb's can shut down rushing plays even when they're out of position. It makes it incredibly difficult to get around LLUA, and as the game goes on they tend ot wear opponents down. Kentucky also has some quick LB's, but they aren't as fast as LLUA, I think LLUA takes this one, but it's going to be close, I don't see more than 45 points going on the board in total.
