I think this is the only logical solution. I wouldn't be too excited about covering this however and certainly not full custom progressions. In GLB1 custom progressions can be countered with the DPC.

That would be the key. Don't let an OC go WR1, WR1, WR1, WR1, WR1. All receivers would have to be in the check downs. At the very least at least 4 of 5.

As an example, if I know a defense runs Cover 3 Tiger against 3 WR sets, I should be able to go to WR1 from TE Drive somewhat consistently to offset the play.

I don't think TE Drive needs any more help, its pretty good as is.

I'm not a fan of full custom progressions either, as I feel it would be too easy to exploit. The idea of duplicating a play but with a different Primary(this would be the only change in the progression order) would give us some choice, with very little coding required.

They should start with plays that are rarely used, to see if we can get some more plays that can be successful.

Anywhere from day 1 of the offseason all the way to day 0 of the regular season.

This is actually an awesome idea. There might be seldom called plays that would be solid if the primary target changed.

this, Ill settle for this. Its just an option. hell, they just ask the forums for the new progressions, then they would only have to pick one and input it.

I'd rather they take the X worst pass plays each season based on global results and play with the progressions on a test server until they find the best order. Then announce those updated plays every season.

When we get to a point that a lot of plays have been updated, then think about making copies of the better plays.

From a business model standpoint it makes the most sense to have changes ready to go Day 1, if they want people to pay flex for tons of scrims, they'd do so because there are new things to test out.

Also makes sense for the user, it sucks to have a rookie team ready to go and then realize sim changes came to late to adapt, talk to your fellow agents about recreating etc.

probably no changes coming this offseason.

if they are really trying to get ported to Facebook - and trying to introduce weather - my guess would be those are for NEXT season (at best)
