LOL. Probably going to see a ton of zone defenses next season on rookie teams.

Not at all bro, I've been gashed for about 2.5 YPC on counters this season. This shit is absurd.

Obviously that can't be over looked. Teams sold out on defense to stop the unstoppable TE routes.

You are complaining something is OP because of 2.5 YPC...?

Zone responsibilities have to be good for something and Boon should be rewarded for sticking with a zone defense all this time IMO. I am still jelly though!

Not only that, but I'm having to make custom game plans for every team I play. What kind of BS is that?

Yea been preaching for changes to the big offenders. We got something but it hasn't completely addressed how powerful the 3 wide pass plays are compared to the other formations. Might of found some plays but they need more testing.

I have seen quality built defenses severely hamper and limit passing. The plays and possibly builds are susceptible to being gashed by running (no idea if it still will be after whatever correction is made in the future though).

Just scoped that out because I didn't realize you were being sarcastic. After doing that, they've got some depth chart issues for the plays they run. Builds are mostly open so we can be certain. Sort of setting them up for failure.

And if we check out their previous games against the non chemistry gutted JMan/Pro/Vet team with an Inactive Owner, we see they just can't run the ball outside period. Their counter plays average 4.6, 2.2, 5.9, 1.8 yards per carry against everybody else. They averaged similar ypc against you, although slightly lower, not enough to matter. It's weird, you're taking pride in your ability to stop counters run by a team that already sucked at running them.

Let's flip this around and check out your offense. 14 of your 16 outside rushes were counters, and your average ypc for them was 10, 28.6, and 21. Checking out your entire offensive gameplan this season, you seem to rely on counters extremely heavily. Rough guesstimation, your averaging over 10 ypc this season with them, and that's even discounting the two 100+ point blowouts.

Yea, it was teh same thing last season. If it wasn't for me being able to run those Counters I would never have survived teams just trashing my defense with them. Loot at this replay here, WTF IS THIS????

The beauty of zone against counters is the way the defenders line up pre-snap. Even after they get faked out they are in a much better position to make a play as opposed to man defenders. Even if those defenders get blocked it forces the HB further outside or to cut back inside. It also helps to have guys out there that can break blocks which DD has.

Since I guess we're doing last seasons stuff, and your posting Central Falcons plays, I checked out those two games:

One of your Zone plays:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1626429 - 19 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1626981 - 2 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1626995 - 17 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1627110 - 18 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1627146 - 15 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1627802 - 9 yards

Average of 13.3 ypc

Another of your zone plays:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1626460 - 18 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1626786 - 10 yards
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/215402/1627268 - 4 yards

Average of 10.7 ypc

Not bothering to check down and distance, but it seems like Central Falcons probably has a disparity between passing/running out of certain formations. They only passed 1 time against either of those zone plays. Not quite the balanced offense designed to exploit Pass + Counter combo that we're seeing come up through the ranks.

The other zone play you originally listed against 3WR formation, they only converted 44.4% of their passing plays for a new set of downs. Less than I would've thought, but then again your teams built for zone.
