awesome. Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing how this first batch looks (think there is a logzilla / bronx scrim going now)

I expect Xars will post his observations at some point. I think he knows those teams pretty well - so be ready to read a novel

Track Meet #2: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/228452

I spammed TE Drive (both 3WR and 2TE version) for both games. 2TE SB 56 times; 3WR SG 47; 3WR SB 40

Here's the 10yd Big Play%, respectively: 37.5%, 48.9% and 45%.

I'm curious to see the DD-LZ game next hour.

(edit) Note: for the 2TE play (37.5% 10yd Catch) my S* WR Belgarion wasn't on the field.

wondering if the new 'less likely to fall down' will lead to a better yards after catch stat (and a better looking sim). Notice any of that Xars?

I watched your game vs bronx (only one in my game feed) and couldn't tell (plus bronx ran a lot of screens)

Going to be hard to judge. Better defenses typically have a defender on receivers anyway so I assume that the YAC chances may improve against CPU and lesser qualified DCs/player builds. The greatest impact here could also be in lower tiers as receivers at vet have already invested in balance if they intended them to remain upright. Lower tier (rookie through seasoned/JMan) WRs rarely have had the balance to remain upright after catches on a fairly regular basis. Maybe that will be different there?

Exactly. I believe this stems from the 600 page thread about retaining new players and "watching their receivers fall down after every catch". I would assume this was a lower tier fix.

Anybody in Rookie scrimming yet to notice this?

For S13, Belgarion had YAC yards of 585 out of 6460. So that's 9.0% of the total. Pretty low.

For the first two scrims, he had:
Yards: 173+273=446
YAC: 32.5+25.5=58
or 13%.

He's never been a Balance monster, and I only ran TE Drive rather than all plays. So I noticed it a little, but I don't think there's enough data yet to make the statement.

Does the bonus to catch awareness help defenders intercept it as well? That'd be a pretty cool aspect.

I ran my normal offense against DD because I wasn't able to chat with Para pre-game and I didn't want to alter anything from past scrims. I haven't compared this game against past DD-LZ scrims, but I'll probably do that next.

The Big 3 TE Drives had a Big Play% of 2TE at 33.3 (3 of 9) and the 3WR at 50% and 84.6% (3 of 6 & 11 of 13).

I'm not seeing Defenders with a boost on Long Passing plays (maybe though, see below). Unless the "Added a bonus to catch awareness when facing the ball" is helping my TEs/WRs compensate. Seemingly over compensate.

In S13, for the entire League/Ladder 30 games, my Big Play 10yd % was 44.6%, 44.5% and 44% (2TE) for the season on 370, 364 and 266 plays.

I'm seeing lower #s on the 2TE version, but higher numbers out of 3WR. The difference is a TE on the field with 57 or 60 Quickness compared to Belgarion's 87. If Quickness matters in facing the ball (I think it does), then it could be why my numbers are better in 3WR with these changes and worse in 2TE.

Just conjecture though at this point. The data is trending that way, but not overly definitive.

The receiver not falling down seems to have little effect on Logzilla. I wish I would have started the game counting how many times they fell down, but I know one the one drive I did count they fell down 4 times in a row. This is the equivalent of NFL WRs and they fall down after making a wide open catch multiple times in a row. It doesn't make sense regardless of balance investment. Falling down isn't a downside to the offense, it's quite the opposite. By not investing in Balance they don't have to invest in Carrying Grip.

Heh, looks like a last minute merge inverted the calculation.

Will that be corrected today or will it have to wait until rollover? Ill throw in some Cover 4 once its corrected to see what it looks like.

And yet I have invested in Carry Grip (not Rec Grip) and Mr. Reliable.

WR Shifty: 41 and Gold
WR1 Speed: 38 and Silver
WR2 Speed: 38 and Gold
Belgarion: 53
TE Catch: 57 and Gold
TE Pass: 57 and Gold

I doubt many Pass teams have WRs and TEs with higher.
