Correct, he only actually played a seasoned season. He will have used the catch up feature twice.

also - don't forget to go through your retired players tomorrow and see who can catch up

I swear I tried it a season or two back and it didn't work.

It will appear tomorrow if the player has played at least one game in their current tier

still works - I just got about 30 points.

For some reason - on QB/LB/HB - it won't get me the 20th point...but it did get me 5-19.

also strange - about half the time it gave me an internal error - I had to hit the back button - then try again.
