So what we can assume is the only SA that is worth anything for oline is Pancake chief so when you do get a cake. The rest all have issues
Ive wondered like I said if the blitzer is already by before my OT engages in his block which is required for it to fire. But relly not much else that will help anyways I guess.

Passing: Leverage and Wide Load help. Leverage is nice because it helps when you are losing the block roll/RNG. If your OT is balanced, you'll lose a lot of rolls. Wide Load helps if you're getting Blitzed a lot. If you're on a team that run a Balanced O, then you won't get Blitzed as much as if your team is Pure Pass O.
Rushing: Pancake Chef is really good, but you need to win the block roll for it to fire. If you're a Pure Run OT on a Pure Run O, go for it (and get a really high Run Block Tech skill value). If you're a Balanced OT in a Balanced O, it won't fire as much and you should probably consider other SA's depending on your RBT skill value and the goal of your team's O. If you have a high Run Block Power skill value, you may want to consider Unstoppable Force because that fires when you are losing the block roll.
A Balanced OT will lose more block rolls then win. My thought is your choose SA's to prevent those high % losses from compounding rather than getting a SA that will only fire a minority % of time when you win a roll.
Leverage is nice. Wide Load is shit. Inside blitzing isn't a thing anymore.

Can we get more info on this? Does it just not fire often or when it does fire, is it not effective?

What about ROLB blitzing? Does the left tackle slow him down?

I gold'ed Pancake Chef on all my O-Line on No Name and intend to do so on SACKS as well. I still think that it is a really good skill for balanced / lean run teams. Obviously, that takes into account the fact that I also tend to build the O-line to lean run (even though the team is around 50/50 pass-run, and was previously heavier on the pass). I am likely to take Leverage next on the OTs because as the Freakville vs No Name game showed - the OTs are getting shredded by pass rush specialist DEs. Glad to see that people seem to like Leverage a lot.

Wide Load doesn't protect you from the ROLB blitz's. It protects you from inside blitzing. Which hasn't been a thing for a long time. It is a useless SA.

Hmmmm..I'll probably gold leverage instead of wide load.
The good thing about wide load is that it fires on pass and run plays.

No where does it say "inside blitzers". It says "chance to slow down unblocked blitzers". ROLB is an unblocked blitzer.

The ROLB coming around the outside corner isn't a blitzing lane. That has nothing to do with Wide Load. By all means continue trying to convince yourself it works like that though.

So what is it if not a blitz lane? Pretty sure unblocked LB is a blitzer as would be a CB even if he is in fact blitzing.
Issue with leverage is that spin cycle kills it as well.
