ok we won 162-0, but my starting QB only threw for 200 yds and 2 tds, my all-pro corner had 1 tackle and 1 pick; DT on the other hand, who if nominated i will withdraw from all-pro nominations just from this game, had a couple sacks, 17 hurries and like 12 tackles

We are talking about individual players and voting for the best player at each position. How does team record have anything to do with it. If we voted that way London would own every award at this point becuase they have the best record.

I do appreciate that International played some backups but your backups are beasts compared to those high school players...and you just won 162-0. Not your fault. If I was any of the teams playing agasint the vampires, I'd run the score up as much as possible because stats mean alot later on the bargning table when signing contrcts, making trades, etc.

Oh well, the championship and the playoffs are more important.

That's why my backups played a lot; they needed to play against that pop warner team; he's saying stats could have been padded and could be padded by the remaining teams, thus making players LOOK like they had a great season, when really they may have gotten a lot of TD passes, or sacks, from just that one game; hell, for some reason i had defensive players getting pancakes! LMAO! I hope that every team beats the vampires down, as it smells kinda fishy to me

Please don't go easy on us. None of us are newbs that will get scarred off by a 162-0 blowout. You may not agree with what Bob did. Personally, I think it's a great plan or I wouldn't have joined up.

Do what you have to do to preserve the energy of your starters for the next game...but all the players on the team know what we signed up for when we joined the team. However, I think you'll see us become competitive in the middle of next season and the next thing you know you will be begging for mercy

This is just like bringing in a bunch of level 24 ringers, execpt it's a bunch of level 1 ringers

As a member of the Vampire team that was blown up, I have to say I think their plan bears watching. Lets face it, our old team was going nowhere fast, and by starting their build with 5 games to go this season, they'll start catching up at about this time next season, I think.

I found myself a deal as a #3 guard (probable starter in a game or 2) in Southeast Asia on a team that had been gutted last season and through lots of work and luck, we're headed to the playoffs as a big surprise. Don't think the Vampires are gonna bounce back that fast, but these are all veteran guys who know what they need to do to build.

I can't say I know whats the going on's in the Vamps planning room, tough league to be doing that type of stuff in as there is no going down and you are not going to be competetive for at least 2 seasons.

I hope you boys have the stomach for it and the players don't end up rolling over again, which I can only assume is the reason for the influx of new players.

Its gonna take more than a season to catch up in this league!!

"Competitive" = 50pt losses instead of 150pt losses Maybe winning against another bottom feeder/gutted team.

Personally...I think you'll start seeing what we are cooking when we reach level 16.

I really think its going to take more than a season to be competitive, definitely. Your guys are 20 levels behind the competition. I started a few O Linemen a couple days ago, they're only realistically going to be level 12-13 to start next season, assuming I boost all of them this season and the beginning of next.

teuspi: Does that level 14 QB start games? That can't be good for the team having the level 20 on the bench. If that L20 is inactive, a higher QB would probably help you out. You've got a pretty decent base there, I think you'll be competitive.

You won your first four against the bottom teams in the division, after that you faced some much stronger opponents. Your depth and levels look all right, might be bad builds in key places and as noted, why are you starting the 14 QB? We play you next, I might be able to tell you more after our game.

You guys look to have a decent team going, but it also looks like you are in the center of a really tough stretch in your schedule. Keep the game planning going, try to focus on any mismatches while still playing to your teams strengths, maybe look back to what you did and didn't do during the wins and see if you can duplicate it.
