It'll help in that you can make him more than 1 dimensional by making him solid in the run game.

you can still get to respectable tackling marks without a S*. 60/50/40/40 tech/power/strip/grip.

Yep, its better to use that S* on an MLB, or Coverage LB that has more stats to work around, you can make those dots much more solid against the run and the pass than the improvements a S* blitzer would gain. The relative benefit on a coverage LB or MLB that you make a S* is much greater than on a blitzing LB.

We're not saying that a S* blitzer is not better than a non S* blitzer, we're just saying there's more of a benefit to using that S* on another LB than the blitzer.
